That's ... disappointing. Are there any other thoughts on MMXII?

I noticed that DL MMXII is up for sale again on Green Man gaming for about $15. Has anyone in North America purchased the game from this site? I've been looking forward to this since it was announced.

I had a similar problem with CE. A member named Wulf suggested this:

No one really knows. I imagine it was part of a storyline that never really got fleshed out.

I haven't played the game yet (still trying to find a ay to buy it in Canada) but from what I've read, you need ketals to create the spell, but they are not truly consumed. The spells recharge, so there is no need to gather hundreds of ketals.

I looked on a couple of different sites and read that they are releasing this in Europe on Sept. 29, 2012. Release in the U.S. (North America) has been cancelled. Can anyone confirm this?

Ranger Lord is not as bad as some people make it out to be, though it is one of the weaker classes. I'm currently trying out a Fighter/Samurai with my Ranger Lord. At least then you will have a dual wield to back up your bow. Hope that helps and hope you have fun with it.

I ran into a similar problem while playing Urgoth. The guards at Ulm immediately tried to attack me and I couldn't get inside. I ended up just trashing the character and restarting the game. Maybe next time I'll try the editor.

It should've been offered when you brought the Staff of Scorching to Rianne.

A pretty easy way is to set your athletics to 4. Back up to the "wind tunnel", do a back flip and keep hitting "shift". This usually works the first time for me. But I am running CE, I don't know if this will work for earlier editions.

It might be a Windows 7 issue. Hopefully someone here can help with that. Unfortunately, I don't really know much about computers. Hope you can resolve the issue, 'cause this is a fun game. Good luck.

@Schteph: On the 2nd page of this thread, about half way down the page, Wulf has a very simple solution to the problem.

Just physical ones. If you want protection from other attacks, you'll have to pick a different heraldry or find some rings or trinkets. But some of the best rings or trinkets are only given when you follow a certain path.

Those mushrooms are a one-time ...

It's on the opposite wall from the entrance to the room. When you enter the room, go straight to the other side. The lever is on the wall.

BlackHawk: Most likely you have to "Run as Administrator". For some reason, doing this makes it so the game does not recognize the editor.

I'd like to know this too. I can do it but there is a catch. Immediately after loading, go into defend position (shield up), then begin walking while in this position. without stopping, release shield and you should be walking. If you stop for any reason, however, you will go back to running.

NP. Been playing it for a year and a half and still not tired of it. Some of it is frustrating the first couple of times through, but it is always full of surprises.
