That would make a dwarf fighter/cleric immune to magic
Especially in a heart of fury mode :D

But would that be necessary? A Cleric/Ranger fit the role better except she has smaller saves.

Different types of Saves

There are 5 groups of saves.
Paralyze
Rod
Petrify
Breath
Spells

What are they really for? What's the difference? Everything should be under "SPELLS"

This would me a fighter dual to cleric or fighter dual to druid would be best done at level13. What about duals to mages?

I notice that the hit dice is lower for mages than for priest. ThacO for priest also increase as good as fighters but it does not for Mages.

thief evasion skill

errr........
the manual hints the evasion skill avoids breath kind of spells. Does it evade others? Does it improve with levels? Or did I miss something in the manual.

What's the optimum level for thief before dual to mage or cleric?

thief to mage

Ok. I want to dual a thief to mage. Will his fighting abilities be any good? I mean, he gets 2 shots per round for bows but will it be good enough since he wont get fighter thaco

Yeah. I noticed that the mage is the only odd character out where it needs 8m experience to get to max levels.

fighter optimum level

When does the fighter stop progressing in terms of his thaco?

Will this make a difference to a triple class - like fighter/mage/thief in fury mode? or f/c/mage?
