"Allister - Neutral to Lawful Good."

Hardening Alistair is fantastic, totally drops away from being Lawful and even away from being entirely morally good, and is definitely worth trying once or twice. His conversations change, he's willing to do a lot more, and the ending of DA:O feels ...

I've got a similar issue, however reversed. I can access the forums easily, but can only do so once I run the gamut of advertisement pages the inevitably fail to the load, or trying to access a dedicated page for a game and find that the site never takes me from the front page.

Either I have to ...

That's like saying the Royal Castle of Wawel has no cultural and historical significance for my nation because none of us actually live there anymore.

What makes GB a gem is not the frenetic, 50-comments-a-sec activity, it's the forum participants' unchanging will to help, answer questions and ...

Really.... the community here is a gem compared to pretty much every other virtual space out there.. and if it is smaller and quieter... well you know what they say about small things and small packages.. :D

I'd say you'd all consider this place a pretty lousy gem when only one or two ...

"Wait! Bush Was RIGHT?"

It sounds horribly partisan of me, but I guess it's just ingrained now. First thought to go through my mind. Not a bad post for post 100 on GameBanshee either (wee, another site I was on stole me away for a while for a bunch of debates).

Uh, turns out, according to Wikileaks, that there were WMDs ...

The lawyer in the case defending the two woman said that the case is separate from Wikileaks and that the public should avoid drawing conclusions of the two women as such. Take that as you will. If these charges are legitimate, I feel sorry for what those two women must be going through -- the court ...

I think many people prefer to attack Assange's character or Wikileaks' goals over those of their own countries because that's the only thing they can picture in the equation.

I would tend to agree and disagree. While some no doubt feel that Assange is against their country and against them, I do ...

Four days is hardly a long time, and this is a forum, not an IRC chat. Trust me when I say I wasn't worried, and wouldn't be offended if you had decided not to respond. ;)

In my view, any man who chooses to sacrifice the well being of a portion of the nation in the truly irreverent manner he did ...

Back OT, it's all very well to shoot the messenger if you don't like the message, but it doesn't change the message. So far I've only seen one person deny the veracity of the leaks and that was the president of Iran! Many governments are wining about the leaks, but so far no opne has been able to ...

I find speculation about Assanges quality of character to be completely beside the point. The important thing is that people like Bradley Manning have a channel to expose information. Now, in any half decent world that role would be fulfilled by the press, but since we don't live in a half decent ...

I once ended the game with a constitution based Scout/Consular build. It was fairly anticlimatic -- I ended up killing him with endless force waves, and eventually he keeled over after I smacked him around with it enough.

I figured since I wasn't good at a lightsaber, I'd just smack him around ...

Altruisitic, definitely not I agree, but I think it's part ego trip, part a power trip, not specifically anti-Yank. Their security is I believe weaker, despite all the precautions they take, because of the much greater volume and greater propensity for whistle blowing. Remember he didn't come by ...

Can I pick option number 3: blown out of proportion?

It seems if Assange so much as farts these days, a half dozen major news companies have to be there to make sure they recorded the tone, for it might mean something.

I indeed do have problems with Bastila overhealing, except for moments when I actually do need her to heal.

The problem is less the scripts and more the queue. If you pause, you can see that she does toss in cure and heal from time to time, but they are placed in the queue to follow the attacks ...

Considering that it's a scoundrel and they have reduced feat access, the chance of anyone who is playing a scoundrel actually having the right feats is, I am betting low, especially since I personally believe some other feats are more worth it for the scoundrel class.

I entirely agree with galraen, and hope that this game meets the same end as Galaxies, but faster. This drive for MMOs on the market is ridiculous, as is the seeming need of companies to do it more and more, only to result in more and more failures. I don't usually wish bad stuff for Bioware but ...

I've not tried going full stealth, but I have a feeling that by avoiding killing things you are in the end going to end up not getting as much XP as you otherwise would. While it might give you more for killing something later, it still won't be as much as if you killed something now and it later ...
