Not correct. Use them like any consumable in your inventory and drag it onto your equipment. It'll drop the teleporter activated.

You can only fight mounted when you're using a polearm or a 1h weapon + shield. You cannot fight mounted when using any other 2h weapon or when dual wielding.

Gone for good, I'm afraid. Anything that isn't an herb that you drop will purge when you change zones. This includes quest items.

If you're having problems with space or weight, dump stuff on your horse.

The white horse that's at one of the bandit camps is the best one of all the available mounts ...
