I liked going with a Bezerker till level 12 then dual classing to a Cleric.

I wound up dual weilding with:
The Flail Of Ages +5
and Runehammer +5 for Undead/StormStar +5

You can wind up by the end of the game with 3 points in Dual-Weilding, and 5 in atleast Flail and Mace and 3-4 points in Hammer ...

It did seem like a huge leveling fest to me. But it was fun, in the same way IWD was, not too many choices, not many side quests, but the battles themselves were fun.

Favorite combo of Spells in TOB: excluding your stoneskins, Protection from evils, bless, chant,etc , and your anti-mage spells ...

Wow, I just beat it, wow, that was friggin hard. No cheats, no walkthroughs, just a couple questions on the boards, and several looks at what cespinar can make (didn't want to pass something up).

Minsc ... I just find him funnier, if I were to pick from BG1 it would be a throw up between Tiax, Xan, and Minsc. BG1 for all that it lacks in comparison to BG2 was much funnier in my opinion.

Carsomyr is +5 weapon, protection from magical weapons only protects you from +4 weapons.

I named my first character for SOA, Job, from the bible story, seeing as he seemed to get screwed over, over and over and over again.

Apparently at the end of SOA I choose the evil path in one of the tests, and well now my character is evil. Is there any way to change back to good in TOB? without cheating? simple yes or no will do, don't want anything spoiled

I have had a game when it took almost a full week of resting in the mithrist inn before I could find him in his home, depending on your choices he could be at his estate, or at the Order of the Radiant Heart. Sleep for a few more days, then try at both of them.

Neither of us believe in 3rd party progs untill you've beaten the game intirely. The only patch is the official patch from Black Isle. He has the Full install so he never switchs disks. Other than that I think He's stuck in chapter 3, seeing as he cant find Bohdi to get to Asylum.

Well, I freaked out for no reason, I did get the Prof's back at level 11, even though at level 10 my berzerker class was no longer "inactive". Thanks for the info though. Up to that point my Fighter recieved a Prof point every 3 levels, this was most certainly not true of the Cleric, atleast not ...

Well, I wound up Dual Classing my Berzerker at level 10, (I figured out then that the next proficiantcy point was at 12 and that it wouldn't do much that much good.

The bad news is, I just got level 10 as a cleric, and guess what, those proficantcy points did not come back. I had placed 4 points ...

It does good as far as Carry Weight Capacity, but dammage and Thac0 do not increase as they do with a Fighter, but then again BG2 has some D&D rules a bit fudged, but I like them that way
