You've recieved a new haven that's why your laptop and Heather are missing. Depending on your clan this can be in three places: Tremere chantry(if you're Tremere)the downtown sewers(if you're a Nosferatu) and Skyeline apartments building room 4(if you're one of the other clans).

A possible bug: in earlier versions of the patch I recieved xp and a quest log update when I got to Ming-Xiao's room, but now I don't get it.

Another bug: the quest log doesn't update when I kill Shu, only when I use dominate or dementation on him or scare him as a Nosferatu.

I found a bug: Bertram's email for the missing data quest does not appear. It's not a big problem though because I can still get the quest when I go and talk to him.

EDIT: Gary's poster quest still doesn't update correctly. Now it updates, but the updates are mixed up for example when I get the ...

I've noticed a few new bugs while playing the game:

1. Gary's poster quest doesn't update correctly(it only appears when I get the email requesting the pull toy)
2. I still don't get xp when I steal the Kamikazi Zen money

Beckett is my most favourite character. Other favourites include Jack, Gary and Fat Larry.

I noticed a bug with Miligan. When I send him to his death the cutscene starts, but instead of running through the door, he starts standing near the staircase and the cutscene never ends. I tried reloading it didn't work.

Nice. Hopefully it fixes the crash I encountered after the intro in v5.7.

The game runs fine on it's own, without patches?

I haven't tried it since all the trouble began but I doubt it because I started playing Bloodlines when it was still v1.0 and the game was full of bugs. There was even a similar crash at the end of the Society of Leopold which prevented playing the ...

I don't know what's wrong with my version maybe I'll download the patch again or wait for the next one to come out.

I've installed everything in the correct order. After installing the latest unofficial patch, did you start a new game or did you load an earlier savegame? I'm asking because I've tried to load a few of my savegames and all of them worked fine. It seems the only point where the game crashes is right ...

I've reinstalled and repatched the game and it still crashes after the intro. Anyone had the same problem when starting a new character under v5.7?

I installed the v5.7 patch over the v5.3 patch.

I just installed the 5.7 patch and the game crashes to the desktop after the intro I already tried it 4 times so I think it's not a random bug. I was previously using the 5.3 patch and it didn't have that problem.
