Thanks, I will do that next time. This time I have just used the "easy game" setting (have never done that before!). It was pathetic and sort of cheating but I really hated this chamber and since I don't have much time to play lately (alas!) I could not afford wasting my precious gaming time on this ...

Thanks for the suggestion, but I just don't have a druid in my party. What am I to do?
I am really frustrated. I think all this "puzzle" is rather stupid. I personally did not have any fun solving it. Just wanted to get over with yet another annoying obstacle. Same applies to the battle squares in ...

Dead end in the Chamber of Immolation?

Please help!!! I am stuck in this last monk chamber. Even though I manage to avoid the flame strikes those two monks kick my barbarian butt way too efficiently, so every time I end up being dead within a minute. How did you guys sirvive?!

Yes, Int modifier determines the amount of skill points per level. I don't know, but clerics with high Wis and Int=10 seem to gain more skill points as well. Anybody else noticed that or it is my imagination? Plus, of course, humans get extra spell points. You right about feats; basically I meant ...

If you have a couple of reasonably strong chars in the party the strong back feat can wait. I completely agree that a paladin should not be given the dirty fighting thing. It is beneath him.

Another concern is intellegence. With Int=10 you can only get one feat and one skill point at a time. I ...

Oswald makes one full plate armor for three days, one field plate armor for two days and one lightweight armor for one day.
You cannot order another set of the same armor no matter what. One of each only.
All three sets of armor are good. I gave the lightweight one to my rouge.

Since the dwarf was evil and apparently murdered Dealan's kin with that notorious axe, I think killing him was a right thing to do after all. I am not sure there is alternative even if your char is evil as well. The dwarf is crazy and attack on sight.

I played fighter-rogue. I had some piece of armor on me (helmet, I think) which gave me immunity to fear among other benefits. I shredded that pitiful Dragon to confetti within 20 seconds or so.

Well, with the current patch you CAN both leave the cave and teleport to the temple during the fight with the Dragon. The Dragon stays inside. Without the patch the gate was locked but I as far as I remember the teleportation stone worked. Since everybody is patched now, it does not really matter.

I don't know if Dragons can travel in-out the cave, but you certainly cannot get out via the gate during the battle: it is closed (magically?). The only means of getting out to heal is the teleportation stone.

I think the Rainbow armor is looking quite bizarre (cool?) and has good stats as well. I agree that for a fighter having "+5" items doesn't really matter; "me will smash you to goo" anyway. As a weapon I liked the Gemsword (two-handed). Namarra +2 was not bad either. I used some other swords too and ...

I did checked out Aarin conversations (ch3) in the Toolset.
Looks like he might have some "feelings" towards any female, but the "relationship" will not fully develop (according to the conversation tree) unless the female is "intellegent" enough to inspire Aarin.

Compare:

Bachelorette #1 - "Me ...

I played a human female fighter (level 16)-rogue (level 4), a cute dark-skinned one, as far as a race is concerned. Aarin should have loved that one.

I have played unpatched, maybe that was the reason I missed the thing. Still, I thing there should have been more options for a female. In BG2 there was only Anomen to flirt with as well (I really enjoyed the moment he gallantly invited my female paladin to spend some private time with him in the ...

@MrSleep about henchmen.

Looking up Mr.Webster:

Etymology: Middle English henshman, hengestman groom, from hengest stallion (from Old English) + man; akin to Old High German hengist gelding
Date: 15th century
1 obsolete : a squire or page to a person of high rank
2 a : a trusted follower : a right ...

Yeah, gnomes don’t look particularly magnificent in any game, that’s why I never play gnome character. But I meant something quite different when I mentioned gnomes and halflings size. Let us say, I did not mean the shoe department. ;)
Anyway, I still think it could be funny to have a romance with ...

How about elves, dwarves, halflings, half-orcs, gnomes etc.? I thought they were the races of the world in question, right? Blacks and whites are humans - another race. Neverwinter is a Northern city and would be populated by (fill in blank)... :)

Linu's husband is long dead. You can find his body (and the journal) lying in a plain view on the floor in one of the dungeons. Unfortunately, I don't remember the exact location. If you would like to be ultimately spoiled, go ahead and post. But I would suggest to search every corpse you stumble ...
