Ascension+Tactics help (spoilers)

I just found out that the last fight with Irenicus is incredibly tough with these mods installed. I'm making a six person party with the intention of beating it, but I'd like some advice before I start. I don't want to do every quest and get all the way to the underworld just to find out it's ...

I make it strong with a little bit of sugar. Coffee that is too sweet or watered down is awful.

Baldur's Gate is a blast to play and has some classes and abilities that I haven't seen in any other game. The only big problems I have with its gameplay come from using 2nd Edition D&D rules. Magic seems to dominate the game to such an extent that you can literally magic missile dragons to death ...

Proficiencies for a fighter/cleric

I've had my clerics dual wield hammers and flails so many times that I'm a little sick of it. What else would work for a healer that uses two weapons?

I'm also wondering if I shouldn't make him a pure cleric. I already have a cleric/mage in the party and I thought two multiclassed healers would ...

Planescape is awesome if you're looking for plot. IMO, BG:SOA's storyline is almost mush by comparison. It's very low on combat, though, especially if you play in certain ways.

I never got into Arcanum, but I barely gave it a chance. My brother loves it.

I've never played any of the other games ...

I won SOA, but in the dirtiest way I could think of at the time. I got this cloak that made my fighter/mage protagonist immune to beholder rays and most magic, and I think I went into Watcher's Keep as soon as possible just to get some +3 and +4 weapons, then left before I was done with the first ...

This is beyond wrong.

I wonder if the Cardinal understands what having a child would do to someone that age, and the chances of that baby surviving the birth. I'm no doctor, but I imagine that both children could have died if the mother had been forced to have the child.

Furthermore, the girl didn ...

I get along well with my family and I almost never talk to anyone else. I'm sure some people don't like me very much, but none of them would care enough to say so.

Thanks a ton!

Anything that ups skills is awesome to me. I have serious trouble finding good runes, though. Right now, the highest rune I have is Thul, and that's from combing 3 Ort runes, not finding it on the ground. A friend of mine loves to kill the Countess for runes, but she seems to only ...

Thanks for answering.

My damage output seems to be adequate against Act II nightmare mode enemies, but that's only because I've been putting points into bone spear damage almost constantly since I gained enough levels to do so. It'd help if I had better items. My wand gives +2 to all my skills, but ...

Bone Spear+Skeleton necromancer

If I maxed out skeleton mastery and bone spear, added 1 point to all of bone spear's synergies, and put the rest into additional skeleton warriors and mages, would my damage output be too low to deal with hell mode?

I'm playing on Nightmare mode at level 45 now, and so far everything is working out ...

Thanks for helping me out.

I know Blasphemy will be really frustrating, but as long as it's possible, I'll do it. If I was afraid of a tough game, I wouldn't be playing HOF.

3 pal/27 cleric sounds good, but it would have fewer HP and seems like it would be more of a priest than a tank. I need ...

Can good characters beat HOF?

I just read a FAQ that claims if you have no evil characters, it "makes the end of the game almost impossible".

I know this isn't true for normal mode, because I've beaten it with a sub-par good-aligned team after just a few reloads. Is this person just biased against do-gooders or something, or ...
