The other day I came across a mod that allows me to scale the amount of experience I get from all sources in the game. This got me thinking, is there a mod that does the same for gold? That is, a mod that enables you to change all the gold drops and rewards in the entire game by a certain percentage.

Play on insanity, make it an Ironman (no-reloads, ever), use absolutely no cheese, no level 9 mage nor level 7 cleric spells in SoA. No HLA's until Ascension. Toss in Improved Ust Natha as a bonus and finish it with no scrolls or zone switching.

If you haven't played an evil party before I'd definitely suggest taking Viconia, Korgan and Edwin out for a spin. Fighter/thief/mage would probably be a pretty solid choice but any thief multiclass should be fine. Alternatively if you plan to change the classes of npc's then you might just give one ...

This is the same reason I'm not a big fan of dual-classing myself, especially at level 13 or later, because you'll end up being stuck with a very sub-par character for a large portion of the game (the best portion imho I might add).

Hehe, thank you for the feedback. I've now installed so many mods that I have a feeling that the game will either be very buggy or easy early on because of all the additional items. Still, I have enough difficulty enhancing mods installed to make it interesting, I hope.

Thank you for the replies. You've convinced me not to install the darkest day. I did however install many of the other mods, although I still haven't decided on a few. I also found another (apparently very big) mod that's called Region of Terror. Is it any good?

What I'd like to know is that if I install one of the rule changes that are available in the tweak pack, like the Un-Nerfed THAC0 Table, Alter Mage Spell Progression Table or ...

Just to clarify what I meant by the title, I'm referring to the rule changes in the BG2 Tweak pack. Basically I'd just like to know if these changes are made only for the protagonist and other joinable npc's, or whether these changes also apply to the monsters, making them more difficult?
