In the forge room there's a large locked chest, I don't have a theif in my party and hitting it with weapons doesn't seem to open it. How can I get it open and is it worth it or should I just leave the citadel?

First Question:

I have played Baldur's through 2 times and everytime none of my wizards can get level 9 spells. they always get to level 8 spells then reach their expeirence cap so they can't get to level 9 spells. Is this just my game or a problem, because i can't see them putting level 9 spells ...

I just defeated Bodhi and killed Viconia getting her body. I have done this once already with Aerie in my last file and I took her to the Temple Ruins and placed the body on the alter. I did this with Viconia but nothing is happening. Is there any other item I have to put on it as well or something?

In Windspear Dungeon, if you go past the room with the vampires you find the chapel key guarded by a greater wraith. what exactly does this key do? I know other keys found in Windspear,such as the sewer key work in other places, but I haven't found a use for the Chapel key yet.
