Probably very unlikely - given that you said there were multiple classes and this game has a fixed protagonist.... but a game that has guns and features cyberpunky junkyard areas makes me think of the beginning of Septerra Core

I enjoyed the game for a while, but one thing that really bothered me was the lack of realism regarding money/prices. It seems such a simple thing to try to add to one's game to increase the realism, but, sadly, a thing most developers tend to ignore.

I believe the X3 refers to critical damage (natural 20 dice roll unless otherwise modified by a particular weapon type or feat). Normally it is understood to be X2 unless otherwise stated.

One other potential suggestion would be the Privateer and/or Freelancer games. There is no real player development but there is ship customization. I rather enjoyed those games in my youth and break them out every once in a while.

X-Com comes to mind as a good old scifi game. I will point out, however, there isn't much in character development (which is a major feature of the gams you listed). Other than that - I've been playing Deux Ex Human Revolution and found myself quite enjoying that lately.

You could always dual class with a thief and take the high level thief ability to use any item. This allows the kensai fighter/thief to use full plate. Whether or not you believe that should be acceptable is another thing...

What type of weapon are you using? Not all are capable of sneak attacks.

GO SE from the Brotherhood bunker, follow the path from the broken fence and you should eventually find the area (I think it might have been called Scorpion Gulley?). It will be on one of the rocks.
