Before the patch this trick was useless. You *should* patch the game first.

And btw the boots of speed unbalance the earlier game seriously.

Guys, help!

I got a gift of BG EE on Steam (damn sweet thing, too, being gifted by someone half a continent away :) ) and I finally managed to run it. I know people are divided over it and Tutu and whatnot, but I'm pretty excited about it because I actually never got to finish BG1 in the first ...

Was it original PoR you meant? Or might it be PoR2?

If it's the latter then just to patch it may be insufficient to get it working on some systems (particularly, with ATI/AMD graphics cards). In that case one should apply MACT (Microsoft Application Compatibility Toolkit iirc).

If however it's ...

Just outside the High Hedge there are several spots where skeletons regularly respawn. So all you need is hack them to pieces and pick up one of their skulls. (SPOILER: keep in mind that the outcome of the transformation is random. I would suggest a separate save before the procedure.)

Hope it'll ...

I'm now in the lower keep. I still have several doors I can't find the keys for in the first and second cellar. I don't like leaving things incomplete but I'm hoping some of those keys can be found in the lower keep? Or am I just kidding myself and each level can be completed on its own without ...

The problem is that the GUI on the lefthandside is partially "hidden" behind the "black bands".
It might have been caused by the wrong order of the mods installed. The widescreen mod should have been the last one.

The same or similar had been here too until I completely reinstalled the game in ...

Yes.
Some maps are rather small indeed and can't fill the whole screen. Is it not the case?

For the preferred procedure of installing BG2 mods and patches one can look at http://www.gog.com/en/forum/baldurs_gate_series/newbie_guide_modding_bg1_if_you_buy_bg1_bg2_from_gog/page1

That worked for ...

On which resolution do you girls & boys run this? My native resolution is 1600*900, but that makes the game appear in a VERY tiny box. Selecting 1024*768 makes part of the GUI dissappear on the left hand side.

Thanks in advance!
Couldn't apprehend this  . It's running here in 1600x900 ...

Olegg, ALL this changes cam be seen in the main campaign? (like backpacks and Tragg too)
or just the new itens? (equipment, spells, ...)

AFAIR, no, not all of them.
I distinctly remember just a few UI improvements. But, to my mind, they were truely indispensable and improved the original ...

Well, now, who talks of the days of yore? Soviet Russia, ugh...

In Pro & Ultimate, however, you won't have "orphane" groups you are not able to control. Just like in Win XP Pro.

Nothing more than that: I believe, with W7 Ult even some cosmopolitan Pole would be able to cope with those obstinate ...
