and more...

If you are a cleric - your temple will send helpers as well

When I played I took all 3 with me- Drizzt, Radiant Hearts, and Lathandar clerics...... we could have killed 100 more Vampires if there had been more...

who is it for?

The real answer to your real question depends on who you are choosing girdles for. If a fighter - then slashing damage prot is best, and blunt second

For an archer or spell caster, or anyone that stays in the back away from combat - then piercing protection is better...

yeow

Your only cleric died? bummer...

You don't have a Rod of Resurection do you? I don't leave home without one.

Without a cleric or Rod - you only have two options:

1) go back to an earlier save and fight again and take better care of you cleric this time..... or

2) cheat: and CLUA in a rod ...

wow! you are new!

OK the damage is described as the number of dice rolled and what kind of dice(number of sides) . A regular die is six-sided and is described as d6, so 10d6 would be the random roll of ten six-sided dice. the results would vary between 6 and 60... and eight sided die would be d8 ...

spellhold subterfuge

I can sympathize....

The first time I went through spellhold I never got to exchange mithril tokens or exchange paintings.... the master led me off waaaaaay too soon - and I didn't know that I'd never be able to get back. I was able to progress, however, without it... so it ...

Does Flail of Ages attract danger?

In the description of the Flail of the Ages and its' history there is a warning that the bearer may actually attract danger from monsters trying to "get it back"?

But I never experienced any pursuit or added monster trouble....

did any of you?

Ah, yes, the Twisted Rune - that was the fight I lost the most.... I had to re-load and come back at higher level.

and Kangaxx...

they were much harder than Bohdi or Irenicus any time I fought them.

Any really good ram ring uses?

I keep thinking there will be a cliff I can knock someone off of....

Any other really good uses/or situations where it's use is advantageous?

In my game Keldorn turned his wife in and I've never seen her again....

I believe I did something wrong.....

and the kids are always alone crying in the corner of the home and they hate their daddy...

Is this situation recoverable?

Maybe the answer is more simple than you think. It could be that you are importing your character AND creating a new one.... it is unlikely that the game will let you do both.

I don't believe that there were any kits in BG1... so you can do a new character with a kit OR you can import your old ...
