Online D&D

What online game is the best turn based D&D format? I'm wanting to get into playing something similar to Baulders Gate online.

advanced whirlwind attack

Give him any two weapons and watch him go at this point. Some help from being controled/held is good as well as any restance to energy drain.

BG and ID

There are many similarties between the two games due to both being based on role play vs hack and slash video games. BG III could be a morph of the senarios from the two.

Finishing the game is secondary to enjoying the game. Used to love D&D in college and this is as close as I've seen to it. Playing the evil party true to form is a much fun as beating the game

I have never used any of the NPC Paladins. I have taken on their quests but the only time I've had a Paladin in the party was as the main character. It is usually my choice of characters and prefer to play to form instead of usuing the NPC's. This is the main reason I'm planning to play with an evil ...

Would love to see BGIII. One way around all this copyright issues is to create your own world, characters and setting bases on 2nd addition AD&D rules. No one can copyright your imagination.

As far as mapping all the locations GameBanshee has this already in the area walkthroughs.

Fable: Greetings ...

Evil Party

Has anyone played the game out with an evil party and playing true to form? What differences does it play out? Suggestions for an evil party?

I had actually just posted on the Minsc vs Edwin in BGIII forums. They hate each other as Edwin killed Minsc's love from BGI

Undead Hunter

Greetings. It has been a while and I see this will continue to be debated. You should always try a run through as an Undead Hunter. The story is designed as to be appealing to this type of Hero making his quest after Bodhi. The Ranger/Cleric is a good choice but try with the Paladin ...

D&D format

I've always enjoyed playing any RPG that stayed along the D&D format. The BG series was great. Is DA origins similar to the turn based format in battle that I would expect from BG?

Its been quite a while since I've visited. Fable good to see you are still around.

If I remember correctly you cannot regain your Paladin abilities. I think a fighter like pc is the best chance after fallen Paladin status. Correct me if I'm wrong, which I'm sure someone will.

Are you playing the game to beat it or playing it to enjoy?

If you choose to solo it is possible to beat the game but to really play it you need to have a party to allow the NPC interaction to take place.

Try to solo with a Paladin. Hard to do. Even the holiest of warriors realize they need a ...

Good game summary. It seems you played it through mainly in the same fashion as I did. One suggestion. Go back and replay with Aerie and roll your own Paladin to go with Minsc and enjoy the NPC interplay.

To me no character could be mightier than the Holiest of Warriors: The Paladin. A player can chose any of the subgroups and not go wrong. The Paladin limits your gameplay and expands it so much at the same time.
