3 days ago I started soloing with a sorcerer (no mods, no xp cap removers etc) on insane.

Why solo? I got back to bg after a few years, couldn't look at npcs, had them all too many times. And I got bored with perfect custom party after d'arnise. Solo ...

There is no assasin in undercellar I either killed him or let him go

So I have finished candlekeep and got back to baldurs gate, I don't remember what I've said to Delothyr for the first time and he disappeared, I can't access thieves warrens (don't see stairs icon when clicking on the stairs). Inside flaming fist castle everybody is hostile apart from duke, didn't ...

Is there a way to rest between final battles on ascension? It is not really possible to save so many spells for all of them...

Well I ended up with a solo run with fighter/cleric half-elf on insane, started today, I am in cloakwood now 6/6 lvl no bigger problems so far.

I didn't take half-orc and I am only using bg1 weapon skills (that means no 2 weapon style, sword and shield etc.), would be too easy.

I wonder where will ...

Well I removed xp cap but also installed ascension which is quite a combo with insane difficulty. Demogorgon was very hard but ascension Abazigal omg ridiculous even for fmc. Time for Baltazar and final.

Which weapon do you think is better runehammer+5 or flail of ages+5?

I have 18/17/19 lvl fmc and I am maxed out before bodhi, installed 50 lvl xp cap remover for tob but it is not working. Is the fact that I am still in soa a problem? Or it should work in both soa and tob if both are installed?

Do you have any links to xp removers? Maybe the one I have is corrupted.

After 14lvl cleric I received access to cleric hla too, picked deva and raped shadow dragon, seems ok now

First of all, it's possible to solo on insane with the F/M/C just the way it is.
Yea it probably is on 13 lvl I only have problems with dragons and liches(didn't go to brynlaw yet). I am trying not to use a lame way to kill anyone.

Btw why do I see cleric's hla list but I can't choose them?

My fmc is already around 13/13/13 lvl and so far I could I only choose fighter hla. Is this how it's going to be? No mage or cleric hla? Come on u want me to go solo on isane without 9 lvl spells or these strong summons u get later.

What is it exactly like with multiclass high level abilities?

I'd go with human assasin for sure. The problem is he stands hand to hand with Drizzt and I think he uses 2-weapon style so Fighter/thief sounds ok too because normal thief (assasin) would suck in melee apart from crazy backstabs.

I am going to play bg2 on insane. I start on friday (09.09), will have a lot of time no more classes etc. Was going to play solo with f/m/c but If there are some active players who want to play from the beginning, that would be nice.

I will play on insane soa+tob (no mods)

I am not really a bg1 guy, only finished it once or twice I hardly remember my char and team. I am experienced in bg2 though. I installed bg tutu now and thinking about a char and team can't really decide who to create to have fun.
