A third alternative would be to find other pieces of equipment that raise dex / strength in SoA, and just carry them through into ToB.

1 tome of "Quickness of Action"
2 tomes of "Gainful Excercise"

I forget what item codes they are in BG2, but if you are using the CLUAConsole, you can CreateItem them into your inventory.

well, to be fair, it is very easy to GAIN rep points in TOB as well. It's just the game designer's way of adding a sense of balance to that system (i.e., not favoring losing or gaining rep points).

that SHOULD work, if you're running in debug mode.

if you have BG2 running in debug mode, you could 'MoveToArea("ARXXXX")', where XXXX is the area code for either a building inside Amkethran or Amkethran itself.

IIRC, the area code for Amkethran is 5500.

Me (Fighter) - Melee #1, go for the throat w/ Minsc and Sarevok.

Imoen - Sword of Mask +5, Firetooth +5. Cast spells & use firetooth from afar.

Sarevok - Silver Sword / Psion's Blade +5, Melee #2

Jaheira - Ixil's Spike +6, magic, Backup Melee

Minsc - Ravager +6, Melee #3

Are you trying to return from your pocket plane?

The bug isn't really that debilitating (if you have BG2 setup to run Debug Mode, or "Cheat Mode"). All you would have to do is 'warp' missing party members into the correct area (CTRL+J).

Your savegame should be fine.

I'd say you're looking at a Thief level of at least 10 to find and disable the majority of traps in ToB.
