ok here i come, so if you have SoA and ToB installed then you are totaly doomed just like me, i tried many thing with console but there is too much variable to change so here is the solution for you if you plan to romance jaheira.

uninstall whole game, then install SoA and load your save like some ...

1) I agree that Aerie is crap in SoA but if you bring her in ToB you will love this dual class ( cle / mag is so powerfull )

2) yeah yoshi sucks but there is some interesting background with him so if its your 1st time you play BG2 then keep him to atleast know it

3) i play Jaheira with staff ...

Here is my strat for those idiot mindflayer, i bet i just hate them like you do :)

1st - you need a rogues with some non detect clock and / or invis potion to open the doors of each room.

2nd - you use your magician or sorceror to drop some toxic cloud, death cloud etc to kill the others mobs ...

My bad, it works. I just quit as soon as the people disappeared right when I walked in. The astral prison is actually kinda hard!

hehe yeah if you do it as 1st quest it s quite hard if you don t know it, but once you figured how it work you can get a boatload of exp

i think i have found some patch to correct the famous Dermin bug, well actualy it s 1 patch and 1 mod, i m testing it actualy and will let you know once the romance is finnaly over.

you just need to play it a 1st time without using map and walkthrough
you only know that you need his hand when you talk to the statue a 1st time.
sometimes your own experience is better

trying to fix the freaking jaheira's romance bug by anyway but i have no clue how to activate the console :/

you are searching for it in the wrong building that explain why u can t find it at all.
check out the map in the soa walkthrough, actualy you are at the 3 ( tanner ) and you should search at the 11 ( 2 door, 1 trapped where u can find the torso annd the other that need the rogue stone

speak to the statue and then you can pass thru it

i'm at the 29th stage, i wait til she start to talk and when it finnaly happen Dermin should come but it don't happen at all, jaheira end the discussion ( i tried all text possibility ...

best way to do it is once u have him in group and the gem, run to the pub to activate the quest, and then you can do whatever u want with haer'dalis
this plan is no big deal if you misss it really

I'm not sure since it never happened to me yet, but Bodhi prolly biten her, so u need to bring bohdi's heart to the temple ruins ( where tu need to type amunator with your foot ) there is a statue there, put heart inside and jaheira should be cured from the curse.

i m about to end bg2 SoA and i m wondering if when i'll switch my save to ToB if the romance will continue where it stoped or a new one will start...

if you fetch the gem and then reform party and remove Haer'Dalis before starting the second part of the quest, you'll lose and the quest just like it happened to me ....

you need to bring him on your own to the pub in order to start it

1. no i don't care about the game clock, i try to minimize my time, i rest when i can t use good spell anymore ( i like to play caster and more in iw2 than other game), i just rest for 8 hours

2. i used 2 cleric both with the level 6 heal and mass heal, i always use at least 1 ...

Bohdi will only appear when u have done killing all vampires in the coffins use stake on them when they sleep, once the 3 are reallly dead she wil spawn to brag some til u kick her ass out of the tomb =p
