problem solved?

Not really sure how but by clicking at random points on the pedestal it finally opened like a container. Even after succesfully opening it I still cant see what I clicked in particular to open the pedestal...strange

I am currently in helms hold chasing after desther and have reached a room with 4 animated suits of armour and a pedestal that takes a gem. I have found a gem that should work on a corpse.

How do I actually use the gem and pedestal? If I right click on the gem all I can do is examine or drop. If I ...

At present I only have the basic NWN but I was considering purchasing the expansions.

Could someone tell me if you are supposed to carry your character over from NWN into SoU? or are you supposed to create a new character for each expansion? and the same goes for HotU?

you havent accidentally hit pause (the space bar) have you?

This is usually the behaviour you get if rearranging your inventory whilst paused. as soon as you unpause all the transparent items become solid.

I've come across a nice item called the belt of inertial barrier which has several effects including a couple of damage resistances (slashing and bludgeoning) but it also has :

"Damage Vulnerability: Piercing 25% Damage Vulnerability"

What does this mean? Do I take an additional 25% damage when ...

I had assumed the ritual chamber is chapter 2. Guess its not quite over yet. Thats a relief.

I put a fair bit of work in during chapter one gaining ownership of the laid bare inn and joining the cloaktower guild as well as dropping a load of gear i gained in the temple along with the henchmen.

In chapter 1 if you collect certain ingredients you can get Marrok to combine them with enchanted weapons.

I have managed to find 2 faery dust vials. However Marrok refuses to make a second feyduster.

Will he only make one of each of the weapons he can create? I wanted to dual-wield feydusters.

Tomi can be really nice in melee if you can keep the attention of the target so that he can get a good backstab or two in.

In the prison
