I heard that all two-handed melee weapons have a 1.5 damage modifer to them. Is this true? A greatsword doing 2d6 damage plus 1.5 times your strength...

Im in the severed hand now and when i try to go to the abyss it says that my party needs to have an amulet each.... and i only have 5.
