Erhh Monster lore?
Erhh Monster lore?
Can anyone explain to me what this talent does? When I was choosing it, I thought - great, gonna save dough on those ridiculously expensive monster books. (why are they so expensive anyhow?) But now it doesn't seem to do anything, I fight monsters I havent encountered previously and I get no knowledge about them untill I buy the damn book
So whats the point I ask? Please, help me clarify this.
I have no idea. I also learnt Monster Lore and while it did add some information at the beginning levels, it didn't do anything in the later ones. Had to rely on books for most of the information.
''They say truth is the first casualty of war. But who defines what's true? Truth is just a matter of perspective. The duty of every soldier is to protect the innocent, and sometimes that means preserving the lie of good and evil, that war isn't just natural selection played out on a grand scale. The only truth I found is that the world we live in is a giant tinderbox. All it takes...is someone to light the match" - Captain Price
I don't think it's broken. I think it just provides information about a few Chapter I monsters, and if you've already learned about them, then you don't get any benefit.

Sir Edmund: "Should you obey the lord who asks you to put a village of innocents to the torch? Is that chivalrous? Is it noble?"
Me: "It's a great way to get promoted, I know that much."
