After you get past the initial part of the temple, where she first greets you, there's a court yard. There's a main door and two side doors. What I did was enter through the main door and tried to exit through one of the side doors (both of which are locked from the inside and outside). But when I try to lockpick from within, the character ends up on the outside, picking the lock.
That's what I'm doing now. Thought I'd use the extra points (from perception) to get something else. Either way, with both of my playthroughs, I was left with somewhere between thirty and fifty unused points.

“The world breaks every one and afterward many are strong at the broken places. But those that will not break it kills. It kills the very good and the very gentle and the very brave impartially.”
Edit: I found the door you meant and fixed it. I was still looking at the wrong one the last time because there is only one side door to the actual temple...Crenshinibon wrote:After you get past the initial part of the temple, where she first greets you, there's a court yard. P.S.: I also checked the Ming tentacle clone stats and noticed that they are intended to be more sensitive to disciplines so I will keep them like they are.

When you talk to Venus in her office, accepting the Venucide quest, and then feed on her, she will still remain dazed even after you have left the building and completed the quest for her.
There is no way to fix the "Skip Intro" option? I can't remember whether or not it was reported.
Also, every time you climb into a vent and have a ranged weapon equipped, the reload animation is triggered.

All these issues are hard-coded and can't be changed. Some people stay in trance after biting but besides a warning in the readme I can't do anything about it. The same goes for the others, sorry.Crenshinibon wrote:When you talk to Venus in her office, accepting the Venucide quest, and then feed on her, she will still remain dazed even after you have left the building and completed the quest for her.

If you hang around inside the club again I think she wakes up - they stay tranced for a certain amount of time, but time only passes for her if she is loaded, so you have to be in the room with her.Crenshinibon wrote:When you talk to Venus in her office, accepting the Venucide quest, and then feed on her, she will still remain dazed even after you have left the building and completed the quest for her.

For the plus patch, is it possible for you to show us the duration of the abilities in their descriptions after all of the affects are applied?
Could you have the time value in the description change to reflect the effects of items like Galdjum and histories such as Faelike?
Also, playing as a Toreador, I am unable to interact with my computer at Skyline apartments. Do you know how to solve this problem?

I don't exactly know what you mean by that...Crenshinibon wrote:For the plus patch, is it possible for you to show us the duration of the abilities in their descriptions after all of the affects are applied?
...and that, unless you mean e.g. "125%" instead of "longer"?Could you have the time value in the description change to reflect the effects of items like Galdjum and histories such as Faelike?
This sounds like the infamous Skyline haven random bug. Save, quit and reload, this should hopefully fix it.Also, playing as a Toreador, I am unable to interact with my computer at Skyline apartments. Do you know how to solve this problem?

Yes, that's what I mean.
So for example, Celerity, it originally lasts fourteen seconds, and you see that in the description, and upon equipping Galdjum it increases by 125%, thus being 17.5 seconds. That number would be written in the profile.
The thing is, while we can calculate the amount of time the ability lasts after an occult item is used (as it states what effects are added), we have no way of figuring out the bonus from histories. So I have no idea how much longer Celerity lasts if I pick the "Faelike" history.
That worked. Thanks.

Done, for the all histories and occult items that change the duration or the damage of something.Crenshinibon wrote: So for example, Celerity, it originally lasts fourteen seconds, and you see that in the description, and upon equipping Galdjum it increases by 125%, thus being 17.5 seconds. Did you just install v5.7 over the one you had or did you install all previous patches in order to reach v5.6 to v5.7 download?
Which number link under the "5.7 Category" did you click?

There's your problem.
The way it's set up now you should have gone like this in terms of installation order:
v5.3 to v5.3,
v5.4 to v5.4,
v5.4 to v5.5,
v5.5 to v5.6,
v5.6 to v5.7.
A slow way to do it, yes, but it's certainly faster than reinstalling and repatching your game.
Since now you need to reinstall the game, you want to do it like this:
Install official patch v1.2
Install Wesp's v1.2 to v5.7 patch.

You installed official patch 1.2 and then the 1.2 to 5.7 patch found at the first link?
I am currently running 5.7 and have no problems with it.

I've installed everything in the correct order. After installing the latest unofficial patch, did you start a new game or did you load an earlier savegame? I'm asking because I've tried to load a few of my savegames and all of them worked fine. It seems the only point where the game crashes is right after the intro.
