Which Playable NPC from the BG series would you like to see in BG3??

This forum is to be used for any discussion pertaining to Black Isle Studios' cancelled Baldur's Gate III: The Black Hound project or speculation over the possibility that Atari will eventually have a true sequel developed.

I think you need to run into Minsc's adventuring party, find out about his death, and then go avenge it. Then you find Boo and give him to Imoen. She finds a way to talk to him and he tells her how to remove the curse placed on him by a giant space cat. He returns to his proper size and returns to space, taking Minsc's body for a hero's funeral.

Bring back Aerie

Am I the only one who liked Aerie? Yes she whines a lot but it was an interesting subplot trying to change her perspective on life.
Besides if you don't like her whining say something to upset her and she NEVER speaks to you again.

As a Cleric/Mage and her abilities to put cleric spells in spell sequencers and contigencies, this makes her one of the best support characters in the game. (a healing spell fired from a sequencer at a frontline NPC or main character about to drop from wounds saved a few lives in the heat of combat).

She may have appeared to be the most useless NPC but in my opinion she is actually one of the best.

None, series over, move on.

(spoilers ahead)

Edwin was killed by Elminster some time after the end of the Bhaalspawn saga. And if you romanced Viconia, she would be assasinated. Pretty hard to bring dead characters back to life for a cameo (although they did it with Tazok)
if you don't romance viconia she lives.. so she could technically be braught to bg3

Killed? Wasn't he permanently cursed to become Edwina the Barmaid??

As to Minsc and Boo, I vaguely remember some claim that Minsc later got added to some sort of official D&D material as the avatar of Boo, not just an honest-to-god miniature giant space hamster, but in actuality some sort of minor hamster deity...

More interesting story would center around the son's war against the drow. Father is a mentor figure, and we know those never last past the first act.

I was always a big fan of Kivan. I was really hoping he would have made it into BG2
