Hello Darth, good to see you back on here again.
Like your ideas in general. In particualr:

on the topic of dark and light side force, i think affinity changes should be harder depending on the strength of your affinity (for example, you're a strong light-sider and want to go dark, it's harder to do so than if you're a gray or mid-light Jedi). maybe Willpower conversation choices are possible to change your affinity. kind of like persuade, you'll need higher skill to get success. Willpower might be a side-attribute of either Wisdom or Charisma
I've said before that I think LS and DS points should be alot less obvious than in the previous games. LS always seems to be quite wet, DS unnecessarily harsh... but sometimes, you're playing one side, and it makes sense from a role playing perspective to choose the other side in one situation, and then you've just gained an unwanted point. So I like this idea of using Willpower in conjunction with actions.
influence could have been much better (like i said earlier, a meter could have been helpful). granted, it could have been worse, too, but really. i intentionally tried the low-influence training of Bao-dur into Jedi to see how he would react. honestly, i figured it'd be an anger kind of thing, where he learns and then revolts. he still sounds like he could have been the Exile's best friend since age 5.
YES how many times have I wanted to know exactly how much an NPC is influenced by me and had no way of checking? How may times have I got an NPC to full dark jedi and they still complain when I hurt somebody? My only worry would be if the game did something like Oblivion, where half the memory is used on voice acting, and the results are far from spectacular.
let the NPC party members attack whoever they want, rather than automatically attack whoever you are. yeah i know, the Exile has the whole bonding and "you attack what i attack" thing going on, but the same crap happened with Revan. i think if a party member is given even 1 command on an enemy, they should fight it until it's dead (or controlled to attack something else) want.
This hasn't been a problem for me before. If anything, I get annoyed when I'm trying to sneak around a base, and then a party member disappears because they've run off to attack someone they caught a glimpse of round the corner, with fatal results.
