Sorry, fell asleep last night. (I seem to have a constant stream of excuses, don't I?

)
@Fallout: You're leaving?
![Image](http://www.gamebanshee.com/ubb/frown.gif)
We'll miss you. Maybe we can fill in for you the rest of the week if you can come on Sundays.
@Aegis: Possed?

It's possessed.

(Sorry, couldn't help myself. No offense.) I'll accept your claim as head bad guy. But your development was rather confusing (see my e-mail).
@All: If anybody has any questions about what's going, or needs clarification, I'd be happy to answer them. Ask away. Of course, some things I purposely don't reveal, but I'll give hints if needed. Here's some hints to the orign of the "entity":
1)Magus: "I was forced to flee the Planar Sphere, and set up my new home here. It took several years of hard toil, but I finally finished. It is constructed of my essence. The labor told on me, and it took another few years before I recovered my full strength."
2)Narration: "Just as the instability reaches the critical point, she (Aerie) stands and exerts her will for one last effort, but this time to convert the wild energy instead of contain it."
Hopefully this will help clear things up.
Aegis made some plot alterations (avatar to mortal again), so that's why his character development may seem confusing. Ignore all of the references to Talos, and Aegis becoming an avatar. It was actually him being possessed my Raistlin.
Melosh-tar: Glad to see you back. I'll answer any more questions you have (except the Entity, which I may hedge on). If you want, we can e-mail each other to consider what you want to do next with your part of the plot.
@KidD01: What do you suggest? I'm open to any input you could provide.
I'm trying to keep things together as much as possible. I'm trying not to tamper with Aegis's plot because he got pretty peeved at me when I did that back in the Rift. My part is deliberately confusing right now to keep Rail and Fallout guessing as to what's going on. It'll be resolved soon. Once I've finished with this new tangent, we should be out of the Rift. Then you can join up. Perhaps you can have a brief confrontation with Aegis or Melosh-tar for now.
@Rail: We're not in Magus's bedchambers anymore. We're in the library. However, there are pictures in there. BTW, Aerie has awakened, though she has not stood yet.
"Uh, Void," Rail's thoughts sounded shaky at best. "Now would be a good time for a teleport."
Void's response is soft and forced. He pauses often to gather strength. He can only manage to direct it at Rail.
I can't focus my mind enough...I don't think escape is possible. The entity is...much too strong for us to combat. But...we must do something now...before it is too late.
The connection dies as Void's telepathic hold slips. His form shifts eerily in and out of existence, as if on the verge of dissipation.
Rail's fragged mind struggles to think clearly. The paintings seem to be their only chance of actual escape from the situation. However, these ones don't have the golden frame, and don't seem to shift and blur like the ones in Magus's room. Strange.
In lieu of escaping, they could try to appease the entity. As to how they would do that, Rail hasn't the foggiest idea.
Then there's always Aerie... She was there before them, so perhaps she would know what's going on.
Rail sees Aerie struggle to stand. She radiates a visible aura of bright yellow. She looks puzzled, but her typical timidity is replaced with determination. Her eyes gleam with surprise as she senses the power, but the revelation does not seem to intimidate her.
One way or the other, Rail knows he has only moments more to act. Another frighteningly powerful mind blast could come at any time, and somehow Rail knows he won't survive it if it comes...
@Fallout: Just because I wrote this from Rail's perspective doesn't mean you can't come to your own decision, even if it splits with Rail's. Each character (even Trip-Wire), must make his own decision. I'm sure Fallout has a number of thoughts running through his head too.
