*Spoiler(s)* Lookin for secret quest!
I've heard of rumors about a secret quest near the end of chapter 6 or so invovling a hidden room with a slayer in it. You must the fight the slayer one on one, with ur main, and you'll get something nice for it....
anyone got a clue bout where to find this secret quest? Please explain in detail. Thx

That's not really a quest, at least it wasn't when I checked last time.
You need to use the CLUAConsole to move to area AR2700. The area is not on the map, so there is no other way to get there.
That's probably one of the things that were planned but droped from the final game version.

I had a look at it and it seems quite cool. David Gaider says it was cut out because the game was too big (which, IMO, is impossible ). It's practically finished already. I'll see if I can add it back in.

@Xyx: That'd be way cool. Are we talking about a scenario with 3 statues (?) who tell you that the "darkness within will be given a form of its own" that you must confront? I found that in the dialog.tlk file, and was really upset that it had been cut.
(Edit: Bah, my typing's been going downhill lately.)

@Xyx: Thanks! I can't wait to reach Chapter Six with my new party and give that little scenario a try.

Talking about stuff that was planned for the game and then dropped, what is the deal with Atargyah or whatever his name is, the genie who tests you right at the beginning of the Irenicus Dungeon??? He says all kinds of stuff about how you're being watched, and he tests you with the riddle about the two buttons etc, and then....nothing. He never shows up again, there is never any explanation whatsoever for who he is or what he was trying to accomplish....weird.
May you walk on warrrrm sannd....
Yeah, "Attaqah" or something... When I first met him, I thought: "Won't be too long before that one shows up again!", but nooo...

I know. When I first started playing BG2 (having no role playing background or fantasy background whatsoever) I'm like "Good god, its the start of the first chapter and already I have a genie throwing things at me.... I wonder how long before HE puts me in a cage and starts zapping me"
