Well I was thinking of using another site (10 mb webspace) from one of my ISP's or maybe from a second or third.
Because this way I can also use some of that space as storage for the BoTB-site ;)

So, did we get anything final for our Council of Mages? I recall only two people graciously offering to take up a seat. :D

Are they in by general agreement (seeing as no-one objected for about two weeks)?

Who will be number three?

What does our wise and benevolent leader have to say?

I say we have them duke it out with magic Missiles at 20 paces. Last man standing gets the spot! :)

How's everyone doing these days? I saw the other post about Interplay having financial issues still. Coming on the heels of the recent announcements pushing NWN back to next summer, does anyone have any thoughts on when we might realistically see this game? Obviously, sooner is better, but if Interplay goes belly up, can we assume someone will pick up the pieces of NWN and get it done?

On another note, I noticed some people getting together last week to play some ToB. How'd that go? Anyone interested in gaming this weekend? SoA or ToB? Doesn't matter to me.

Good morning, my fellow wizards... I know i have been out of the loop quite a bit lately, but I think it's about time to get down to business. ;) I am in the process of deciding on who the 3 will be for the ranking wizards in our Wing. I should have that all sorted out by tomorrow.

Also, I have noticed that the other wings are coming up with some logos. Not sure if they mean these to be used for the entire guild, or if we should come up with something for our wing specifically. Any thoughts on this?

One last thing... Since we have quite a bit of time before NWN is released, I think it might be beneficial for us to try and do some playing together in SoA or ToB to pass the time. In addition, Pool of Radiance should be out in the next month or two, so that might also give us an excuse to get online and do some adventuring. Since it will be 3rd Ed. rules, it should give us a good measure of what might be in NWN.

I have something that could be used, if nobody has anything better (or can make anything better)

As for ranks, go for it - just as long as I get notice, so I can post it on the site :D

All other members of the Magi Wing:

Will all be ranked as Council mages.

Xandax, I PM'ed you this info as well, if you could please update the site, I'd greatly appreciate it.

I'm editing it as soon as I can (hopefully right now)
I must just say I don't like the name of the ranks.
Council of Magic sounds okay.
But then next rank as Council Mage??
Well firstly there is no mages in NwN - only wizards and sorcerers - and second, Council Mage sounds like somebody that is a member of the Council of Magic (if you can follow me?)?

That's kinda what I was thinking, but I just went by what you had on the site. I didn't realize we never came to a conclusion on rank titles.

What should we call them - "High Magi" because they are higher than the "magi" but lover then the council?

EDIT: I have some difficulty connection to my webhotel, but I'll try again tomorrow.
If I can't do it then - I'll update it when I get back from a trip friday afternoon (local time)

Well, I guess this is just a question of semantics... Do sorcerors get offended when called a wizard? I don't think I do, but then I've never been called a wizard. A "Whiz Kid"... yeah, heard that before. :) What does everyone think? If there are no Mages, then is "Archmage" not an acceptable title for the leader of the wing?

"Mage" is a good, generic term that could apply to both Sorcerers and Wizards. I'd be comfortable with that. :)

<IC>
I humbly accept my seat on the Council.

*bows*

oO(One step closer to world domination. Hey, wait... That wasn't in my agenda! Oh well, I'll squeeze it in somewhere...)

I will strive to be just and fair.

I was pleased to read that NWN may still ship this winter. Very exciting stuff!
