@ Average Joe: I am going to set up a bulletin board for us to use. That way we can do anything we want! We can also log on and do our turns anytime we want! :D

Well, just from looking at mine and Rodo's times alone, I don't think we'll be able to do real-time sessions. To me at least, it's looking as if play-by-forum is the best option for us to all be able to participate.

Like I said, I'm perfectly fine with this, as long as we aim to complete one round a day, meaning all the players post, then the DM posts the response to our actions, as well as sets up the next round.

What's everyone else think?

I'm in for either a forum or real-time game. If people want to play in real time, Sunday is the best day for me (afternoon or evening, say 6:00pm to 2:00am GMT); I hold down a full time job and I've got a kid playing baseball, so during the week is usually bad.

Since our friend The Stranger has volunteered to DM (thank you, by the way), do you have any directives about character generation? Class or racial restrictions? Point-buy or rolls? How much stuff do we get?

Also, what is the general party make-up going to look like? Knights? Heroes? Villains? Assassins? Anti-heroes?

I think that we will be better off playing a turn based game. I do, however, think that the turns should have a 48 hour turn around. I don't know about the rest of you but I have a wife and a mortage 2 cats and a full time job, plus I am going to college part time. My plate is pretty full right now.

I will be able to DM, but I won't be able to devote 2 hours a day thinking up responses to everyones turns. Remember, this is not a tournament or a race. It is for fun. I also have never actually run an RPG by e-mail. It may take a while to figure out all of the bugs. We will definitely go... Just not too fast to start.

Sounds fine by me. Forum play it is.

Stranger, I guess since you're DMing you should let us know what all you need from us. I also sent you an email with my address on it...hoping you got it. So, let us know what's up.

We could just create a thread right here to play the game on this forum. I like the idea of IRC or IM, but getting a time for all to play could very well be impossible.

We can also start a group on Yahoo, cheap (as in free) and private.

I think that I have got this BBS thing under control. I bought some Forum/Chat Room software, and I will be getting my mini-server pretty soon. We will see what happens! :D :D :D

In the meantime, Mr. DM, slap together a campaign for us! Give us what races/classes we can use and what sourcebooks. I just had a look in Oriental Adventures the other day, there's something pretty cool stuff there.

I'm Ready to start!

Hey everyone who was going to play in my game! I am going to need you to e-mail me so I know your e-mail addresses. I will be sending out the house rules and requirements ASAP!

I also need to know who has Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel and/or Microsoft Word... Seems like a wierd question, but setting up the BBS is taking too long, so we will be doing this by e-mail and I wanted to add some cool stuff for you :D

My e-mail is in my profile!

People of the game....my email link here at the site is not the email I use. I know some of you have used it to send me mail however. So, if you want my real email, pm me and I'll give it to you.

Stanger, you should definitely get it from me, cuz you sent me the game info to my other email address.
