Spawn and Gambit were cool, as was Venom in Lethal Protector, I absolutely loathe Batman and Superman. I liked Archangel once Apocalypse changed him. The guy from V for Vendetta was pretty cool too. I liked the Scarlet Spider better than Spiderman.

Mmm, Lynda Carter.

My favourite superhero at the moment, though, would have to be Groo.

OTHER:

(1) Daredevil - just because he's not your typical hero. (and in german he's called "The Demon"....I kinda like that ;) )

and

(2) for obvious reasons:

Wonder Girl / Woman :D ;) Image

Yeah, he is cool when fighting, but when he starts talking!
Then he is just a big goof, trusting everybody and thinking every vilain can and will change for good. Thats a bit to much goodness for me.

But he rocks when he is angry!

Colossus is my vote. He had far more heart than brawn. Now that was refreshing, plus well written story and character development. Hell i had tears in my eyes when the killed him off, but that is also because I have a younger sister and what was written would be how i would feel if i lost her. That has become my favorite comic.

@CE, didn't Rorschach have a mask that sort of worked like a wearable lava lamp? It had black and white fluid (that he could see through, but no one could see in) that moved about and did not mix. Every panel with him had a different "ink blot" on his face.

My faves are
Swampthing
The Tick
RoboMan (from the doom patrol)
Miracle Man
Grendle (before all of the Marvelisation of it)
Pirate Peg (from Strange Attractors)

My most fave at the moment is not a superhero - more an antihero.

Lusipher from Poison Elves (Jace is his side kick). If you have not read it, I highly recommend it, if only for the support characters - Parantachin, the Purple Marauder, Hyeena, et al.

Without the likes of Bananaman and Dangermouse in there, this really is a pointless poll...DM really is the greatest guy ever :)

Oh, both - I have comics and annuals galore (somewhere), but the TV series was quite funny too ;) if you like that sort of thing...
