Specifically what I heard is that pretty much all you have to do is drive around a bit.

We have to do manoevers and stuff, like parallel parking and three point turns and stuff...

. My dad owns a Honda Silver Wing - great bike for making long rides. Perhaps if I save up enough money, I can start thinking of buying a bike. Besides, I need a different driving licence to drive a bike, so I'll probably have to take lessons for that too

To be able to drive on your own you have to pass a driving test with all that stuff, yeah. But to get your Ls you just have to pass a written multiple choice test.

Oh, right. You don't have to pass any tests to get a provisional licence here.

But you have to pass a theory test in order to apply to do the practical driving test.

EDIT-Towels are rough and might scratch your smooth skin, my tongue is much gentler and better for your supple flesh, my dear.

And it's really, really easy. Sample question:

You are stopped at a pelican crossing. The light changes to green, but there are still pedestrians on the crossing. Do you:

Go through the crossing, forcing the pedestrians to move out of your way?
Rev your engine?
Wait for the pedestrians to cross safely before pulling away?
Inch slowly forward?

I don't doubt it, but soft and fluffy are still preferable qualities in a towel
