Specifically what I heard is that pretty much all you have to do is drive around a bit. :D We have to do manoevers and stuff, like parallel parking and three point turns and stuff...

@Beldin isn't that what the hot tub is for? :D

@Kam LOL :D

@Ode: Haven't seen "Akira" , gotta link handy for me ?

@Eerhardt: Have you ever ridden/owned a motorbike ? I can't imagine going without that feeling anymore (In case you haven't guessed it yet - I have finally started this years riding season :) ;) :D ...after too many days wasted because of technical problems...)

the actions of Eerhardt

@Beldin: Like I said, I have an old BMW and sadly that's it :( . My dad owns a Honda Silver Wing - great bike for making long rides. Perhaps if I save up enough money, I can start thinking of buying a bike. Besides, I need a different driving licence to drive a bike, so I'll probably have to take lessons for that too  ...

@Georgi : Good point... ;) but I could always lick you dry afterwards - so you don't ruin your clothes with the E.S.S. still clinging to your body... :D ;)

@Eerhardt: Same here - I had to get a seperate license for bikes  ...but it was worth the effort..... :D

To be able to drive on your own you have to pass a driving test with all that stuff, yeah. But to get your Ls you just have to pass a written multiple choice test.

@Beldin-I'll post a link as soon as my ****ing internet goes fast enough for me to find a good one.

Oh, right. You don't have to pass any tests to get a provisional licence here. :D But you have to pass a theory test in order to apply to do the practical driving test.

I just found a good site, too. Here's another Akira site. Check out the red bike, it rocks.

EDIT-Towels are rough and might scratch your smooth skin, my tongue is much gentler and better for your supple flesh, my dear.

And it's really, really easy. Sample question:

You are stopped at a pelican crossing. The light changes to green, but there are still pedestrians on the crossing. Do you:
  1. Go through the crossing, forcing the pedestrians to move out of your way?
  2. Rev your engine?
  3. Wait for the pedestrians to cross safely before pulling away?
  4. Inch slowly forward?
    [/list=a]

Reminded me of a joke about seeing a jet in your rear mirror, so I started a search and stumbled upon this

We were discussing Beldin's tongue, I believe :p And besides, not my extra soft and fluffy towel :D

@Kammy it is still a joke then... I like the questions like:

Someone drives up behind you, exceeding the speed limit. Do you:
a. swerve across the road to stop him overtaking
b. slam on your breaks
c. honk the horn and swear at him
d. allow him to overtake

:D

Edit:    Noooo! Not that ****ing moronic cover of Light My Fire on the radio... Immediate remedial action is necessary *puts on the Doors' version*

I could try eating a container of fabric softener if you think it'd help. :p And not my extra soft and fluffy tongue. :D

I don't know if it would help, but it would be amusing. :D

Note: Gamebanshee does not recommend the eating of fabric softener, kids!

Funny, I think that's what he might do after eating aforementioned fabric softener... :D

Beldin:

@Kam - that Question explains a lot about the people "out there" driving their cars... ;) :D

@Georgi: Believe me....sometimes it'S GOOD to have a rought tongue..."soft and fluffy" gets boring after some time... Image

@Ode: Don't loose ALL of your pride...PLEASE !

@Eerhardt: Hand over that spliff, will ya....? I have to do something to counter Ode's repulsive devoteness... ;) :p

I don't doubt it, but soft and fluffy are still preferable qualities in a towel :D
