Why is it soccer here, but futbol in Mexico?

If we called it Football, would it be as popular as Football?
Because you Yanks are mad and misnome things in order to disfigure reality. If you renamed it, it would not be as popular as your handball-football: "What's in a name? That which we call a rose; by any other word would smell as sweet."
Will a vacation in Colorado be fun?
You won't know until you try, but I actually think a more exotic place would suit you better...a place across the sea, far north, with mountains, forests, lakes and pretty female neuropsychologists...
Is my kid really as smart as I think she is, or would putting her in an accelerated school harm her emotional growth?
It is a myth that intellectual and emotional development must be in conflict with each other, or that one occurs at the cost of the other. Most healthy kids from warm, loving, supporting families will mature faster emotionally if they are also very smart intellectually. It is however easy for parents and teacher to overfocus on a childs intellectual skills, so the adult world needs to watch themselves when dealing with very smart kids. :)
Is the lottery rigged?

What are all those blue flashing lights at the bottom of my computer screen?

Look at the time!

Oops, I need to pick up the kids.

If soccer isn't popular here in the states, then why is there a whole group of people who call themselves "soccer moms"?
I am happy you wish to share these deep and personaly thoughts with us, Gwally. It's really amazing to get a glimpse of what goes on in the deepest corners of your mind... ;)

Ehm.. Lately I feel I have been delibrately tormented by two women around here. While they pretend they act in my interest I get the feeling that they are always trying to embarrass or humiliate me. I can tell they frame thier faces for all occasions, So im never sure how they will behave. One minute they actually seem to care about me, while the next they are accusing me of stalking them. Im not really sure what to do about this and I will be very gratefull for any help.

I am not a Freudian, on the contrary I prefer contemporary therapy methods, especially those that include totally subjective, arbitrary and entertaining interpretations of clients. If you are dissatisfyed with the GB forum, just leave you @#$ moron!

:D Good to hear it. Then you are, perhaps, an admirer of the Marquis de Sade. Sounds like his methods...peppered with colorful outbursts, too! ;)
I am a shrewd and unnerving person. You will understand this better, as we become more familiar with each other...

LOL! Are you familiar with the saying, "as plain as the nose on your face?" Not much to ponder, there. :D
This is not normal. Especially your paranoia regarding my couch is abnormal and demonstrate a severely disturbed, perhaps even dangerous mind. In fact, you seem to be the first suitable candidate for electrocution.

Hmmm...I already knew that. :) Being the first to be electrocuted, however, sounds interesting. The memory dump, in particular, sounds appealing - there have been a few tunes in my brain that have been refusing to go away, lately. Forgetting them sounds just ducky! :D

Hi--@CE? Mind if I lie down?

I...I ned help. I've developed this strange feeling that I'm actually a moderator stuck in a virtual reality universe called GameBansheeland. I find myself extending my arm, gesturing with my hand--and thinking that I can move conversations into other rooms. It's very strange. What should I do?

Dear Dottie, it is common that young men, especially those who feels a bit insecure about their sex appeal and appearance to others, feel that women pays more attention to them that is actually the case. I think you need to reality test your ideation regarding those women you are referring to.

I heartily recommend that you follow Thantor's advice to achive the most reliable reality check - narcotics is the solution for you. Don't worry about the expenses, due to my excellent contact net in the business I can enroll you for trying out experiment compunds with unknown effects! :D

Bats are however out of the question, since they are protected in Sweden. Should the narcotics offer only limited help, we may go further with wooden bats though. "Impact therapy" may still help.

So, you are interested in electrocution? Hm...Dammit, he seems to look forward to it. There goes my sadistic pleasure....I must come up with something else, he's ruining it....hm....I know! You sound like a person with unusal insight and understanding of the human nature. Actually, toas...I mean electrocuting will probably not be needed at this stage. Instead, I suggest you take these pills *hands Chanak a fistful of green pills* and come back if you don't feel better.

Ok, so how much do I owe for this visit? Hopefully you aren't as pricey as the last one was! ;)

Welcome here Mental Nomad, it's your first visit to SYM? Please, lie down and take a pillow. Great - an unfamiliar face to torment :D

All phobias must be treated with so called exposure, which means the client must learn not to avoid the feared stimuli, but instead get used to them and realise they do not pose as large a threat as it may feel like. Therefore I recommend you to...quickly takes out a thesaurus and checks the words...use online chat forums extensively, especially at "rush hours". Try hanging around in party and pub threads as much as possible. Participate in group discussions and group hugs. The latter are frequent when a member called Vivien is present, so keep an eye open for her. :D

Apart from this, I can also see you are suffering from neologism, often a sign of deep, underlying problems. For the time being, avoid modern poetry, and I will think out a suitable treatment for this social disability.

Hello Fable. I'm sorry to hear you are feeling this way. As your shrink, I do not wish to hide anything for you, and I shall therefore speak openly and plainly: You are very ill, my friend. This feeling of being a what you call "moderator" in this fantasy land "Gamebanshee", is a serious sign of unhealth. Your images of moving conversations between rooms, is even more bizarre. You do realise your mind is playing a trick with you, do you? None of this corresponds even slightly to events and phenomena that can be observed in reality.

I think you are suffering from a stress-induced megalomania. You have a problem with accepting that your power as a futile human being is limited. You unconsciously wish for eternal life and unlimited power. You need to take some time off, perhaps go away....why not to Novaja Semlja.

@DW and Thantor: I strongly support a relocation to the House of Depraved for Thantor, since his treatment requires fluffy handcuffs and a leather whip. If DW is so kind as to assist me with this particular case, I have latex catsuits, high heeled boots and oranges stored in the closet behind my desk. DW, there is a door leading to a soft cell hidden behind the bookshelf to the left...should you feel this is needed.

Oh, this is purely ideal work, I don't charge anything...you just need to sign your name at the dotted line of this paper...
