CIA Safehouse
@Tamerlane:
The Safehouse is always open...The gentlemen in the Armani suits and shades stand ready to serve you 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The east wall also conveniently collapses to allow the Rolling Thunder easy access. It was either that, or it would make it's own access.
There's a new drink on the menu - it's called "Silent Reflection." You're welcome to try a glass, though I can't be held responsible for any...side effects you may experience.

@Chanak-Oh, the east wall. Ermm, we used the south wall...
Sorry I wasn't around when you came back @Tammy, I was out getting drunk in Northbridge. No more whisky and sangria for Odie for a few days, methinks.

It was going to be a boring dinner and my parents were paying for my drinks, so I thought why not get drunk and make the evening that much more interesting?
It worked, I had to have help with walking but I sure as hell wasn't bored.
But the self-imposed drinks ban is largely because whenever I burp I get the taste of some pretty foul-tasting whisky on my tongue. The sangria was lovely though.

I wish, this was the first one where I had the option of alcohol.
I had to suffer through all the others sober!

I so have to get my liscence...
Being the designated driver would suck, act as irresponsible as you can before it's too late!
I assume your younger cousins have been indulging on the sly? **Thinks of drunken mini-rappers tripping over on their too-low trousers.**
EDIT-My mum thought I was bluffing when I said I'd order a whisky on the rocks. She started believing me after the third glass though...

That doesn't sound much fun. I'm kind of lucky since my family has so many feuds going on that gatherings are extremely rare.

That's nothing, my family passed that ages ago. One aunty of mine attended my parents housewarming party before I was born, the house had only been built for about six months by then. She pretended to go all shivery and claimed that someone had been murdered in the house many years before, which was news to my parents.
Another aunty of mine has moved over east and refuses to tell anyone the address or give out her phone number.
**Gets Fas a cup of tea**How are you today, Fas?

When my grandpa died the same aunt who has moved over east had a list of everything in his house typed up the next day, and went through the house picking out the things she wanted to inherit. No "Poor old pop, he's dead" just "This is what's in the house, I want such-and-such and so-and-so."

Getting drunk with your parents? Ok, so I wouldn't do it... my family just isn't that kind of family. I'm sure you made a great impression on your relationsOriginally posted by Ode to a Grasshopper

Oh yes, being the designated driver does suck... when none of your lame-ass friends can be bothered to get to licence since they figure you can just drive them everywhere! Now that was the great thing about not having a car at uni... don't have to worry about drinking, and everywhere was reachable by a bus ride or on foot...Being the designated driver would suck, act as irresponsible as you can before it's too late!
Who, me?!?
