fun with valen....spoilers

ok, valen is pretty cool, but you find yourself up a creek after a while...

at 2.5 million xp, you get abmushed by vanhelsing, faith, kendra and buffy...all undead hunters, and packed with some of wes's fav tricks...

protection from undead....use remove magic....

they each summon a planetar...use image to summon several yourself...

and they are good people, just need to be swacked so you can keep the best npc ever!!!

yes, i dropped from 15 rep down to 1 after killing them....

so here is what i did to keep yoshimo, (no heart yet) and kelcy...i was clearing the thieves guild for bodhi, and i setup the ambush in the quarters above the guildmasters lair....

location is all important, as you will see....

i surrounded valen with snares by yoshimo, and summoned 4 evil planetars, i am neutral bun bun as usual...

used console to raise valen to 3 million, and they all appeared...chained abu and remove magic spells killed van helsing, and hurt everyone else...planetars swarmed the slayers, and killed them quick...if you cntrl q them you will see, like the typical wes creations they come in with every protection you can think of....killed them all, and before i got the "i am leaving" dialog from kelcy and yoshimo, grabbed entire party and ran for the ogma temple, running away from a group of pallys who come after you...made many donations, and rep was at 18..whew!!!!

valen is a fun gal, she is really cool as a assassin fighter multi, and what i did was to remove her +5 claws, gave to yoshi, and asked her to check them again...got a second set, and now she dual wields....will give her super backstab dagger from item upgrade later....gave her a bunch of mislead scrolls for backstab festival....

hey wes, her innates under sk showed a bunch of standard bhaal powers, like the one u lose after spell hold with 0 spells memorized, like horror and cure light wounds...did you duplicate the cre file of a protagonist???

anyway, valen is a really cool npc to have around, and now you can take her with you even if you have tashia or other goody goody types...and even neutrals leave with rep 1...

assassination really really kicks butt....

dual wield her claws, and cast improved haste on valen, and cast assassinate just before hitting monster....

i was doing 130 points of damage in a nontuple hit backstab....

assassin kit really is seriously killer....

multi assassin fighter is going to be fun to play...

oh yeah, was fooling around with sk, big surprise there...

gave immie some hardiness, but not the warrior type, the wish spell type, it puts out a button with no icon on her innates, and when you click on it, it changes the pointer to yourself, click on any party member, everyone gets hardiness!!! and i stacked it...
whoo hoo....

bun bun7????

could also add spell disruption of wiz slayer, figured out a while back how to do that...

where is chloe, where is chloe...

chloe, and valen....yummmmmmmm......

bun bun for spell support, and viccy for cleric, perfect party....sola for more fun monster stomping raves...

Yes, Assassination is great for a fighter/thief...

Chloe is a new, custom NPC. It's not out yet, but it's in beta testing, AFAIK.
She's a lesbian Kensai, and a demigod! What more can we ask for!?

alson, lost interest in bunny of doom, too easy, and been playing with kelcy...

all you need to do is

open shadowkeeper, then go into creature viewer, open up "rabfam.cre" file, hack extensively, then save....this will create a cre file in the ovverride directory..DO NOT EXTRACT...rename to rabfam.cre, as sk will not allow the same name as the original cre file, and then leave it in the ovverride directory....

now this will ovveride the original cre files that came with the game, so when you are neutral and summon familiar, it will use your version of the cre file to generate the npc...

to test out if you did everything right, change the avatar to red dragon...giggle, yes this works....

anyway, give it high hit points demogorgon claws, you can actually look at the cre file for demo for the exact item type, and give it immunities if you want...

for the tob part, i think in creature view its "rabfam25.cre" not sure, just tested with rabfam...

i am thinking of doing bun bun 7, so its ready when chloe comes out.....

ummmm...racy dialog...ummmmmmmmrrrwwwwowwwwwe...

bun bun seven will take advantage of the fact that assassin backstab is an affect line, not a kit descriptor...

start out as assassin fighter, and level up with g whirlwinds, and assassinate innates, and switch to kensai, add g deathblows, and sorc it...

with the greater acuity on all time trick, i can have in the same round....

assassinate, g whirlwind, draw on holy might, poison weapon, and kai...

should be able to hit a dragon with over 500 points of damage per round...

assuming assassinate works on a non thief kit....

more testing.....

oh yeah, alson, you should definately try it out at least once as a red dragon avatar....

if you talk to it, it will pop back into your backpack as a little bunny, and now the line....

"is that a dragon in your shorts or are you glad to see me" really works...

Valeb is the best NPC in my opinion, she's worth the feebleness during the day as almost everything in BG is inside anyway- pain in ass redistributing items to even out weight though.

Having Valen level train and backstab on the first hit makes everything else so much easier.

She does have an annoying tendency to hurl herself at anything sometimes disrupting my well laid plans (keep her trapped in a corner for most of twisted rune)

bake, if you think shes good as a fighter thief, try opeing sk, and then lowering her level in both to 1 or 0, then change from true class to assassin....

she currently in my party has 9!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! x backstab, and if you talk to her, and tell her not to attack until you decide, she is quite controllable in combat....

though she does have a nasty mouth,,,she sold off the real dragon eggs to the demon, and i ended up having to fight her...

her claws now do 5 level drain per hit, which makes gram the sword of grief a joke....

however, you can lose loot...

its ok, she can also use killer non level drain weps...

bun bun 7 will definately feature the best attributes of 6 full kits...

assassin, fighter, chavalier, undead hunter, kensai and sorc....

all fully functional and loaded...

now that chloe is on hold, i will make it after a new mod comes out, and after i pass switching exam....

having valen in group no longer permits you to do certain goody goody quests, like turning in nebs head....

so ideally, you should do all the chapter 2 stuff and get all the good xp based quests done, then side with bodhi....she made me kill drizzt, who deserves to die anyway, annoying git, but when i went into the order of the radiant heart, i had to kill them alll....hard to be a pally and keep valen, wot???
