Nature’s first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf’s a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.

Doesn´t he look a little bit to.... clever?
Icewind Gate II Improved engine, third edition rules and the full BG2 storyline.

RandomThug, I am hyped up to draw your comic. Email me an episode, and I will draw it and mail it back to you. We can have creative discussions thereafter. :) We will destroy Kayless and Robnark with our superior mastery of misery, violence and degradation.

Unfortunately Osiris, no. He should be smiling like in ignorant bliss, that´s the real Khaggoth! :)

Not necessarily...Theres a Sonic sprite comic thats in the top 10. So sprites can do just aswell. And the soda aint half bad either. Ha ha ha. :D

@Khaggoth drawing: Hrm...no offense, but maybe you should stick with the sprites for now. :D ;) Though the paints you used for him seem to work out well. :D I know Im a critic. Im sorry. But you know youll get honesty out of me. :D
“Caw, Caw!” The call of the wild calls you. Are you listening? Do you dare challenge their power? Do you dare invade? Nature will always triumph in the end.

Yeah, but sprite comics are a dime a dozen. The more graphically impressive strips are generally more popular.

Castor is supposed to look young. He is young. :p As for the big mouth, I just think it looks better in this particular strip (since his attitude is c0cky, over-the-top, and goofy). A touch of anime you might say. Besides, he's only Castor v0.1. Look at how Khaggoth changed... ;)

Maybe they could be transformed by a Wild Surge or teleported to a different plane where everything is drawn instead of sprites. :D

Arrggghhhh!!! Those eyes! They are looking right through me!
Oh, and Khaggoth still looks too intelligent. And he doesn't look much taller than Castor, is he supposed to be? Also Castor's feet are too big. What do hand drawn Sour Quince Logs(TM) look like?
Love the comic, a hand-drawn issue would be great! If your using up too much space, could you put the archived comics together in a *.zip file for downloading?

He looks 14! I envisioned him as 20? I dunno. The age I envision my party in BG. :D

Whose? Khaggoth's or Castor's? Image

I kinda like Khaggoth's look. :) Maybe it's just his expression that makes him look smarter.

I hadn't put much though into comparative height. Image Khaggoth should be somewhere between 6'2'' and 6'6" (probably around 6'4"). Whereas Castor's height is between 5'8" and 6'0" (pretty big margin, I'll admit).

You know what they say about guys with big feet. Image Maybe Castor wears big shoes on purpose…

Good question. Perhaps someday we'll find out. Image

Well I'd like the DCI archive easily accessible for new readers (I'm getting a lot these days). I'll probably just open a new Geocities account or (*shudder* Image ) upgrade to a pay site that gives me 10 extra megs of space.

I haven't really thought about their ages much either (other than young, middle-aged etc.). Castor is somewhere between 18 and 25. Image

And today’s issue might be a bit late. I’m working on it now, but it probably won’t get done before I leave to see TTT. :D

Hmmm...Im not sure how Id feel about a totally hand drawn DCI. Aslong as it doesnt loose the jokes or the feeling of how it is now, then do as you wish.

Well Im waiting patiently for Friday night. Thats when its my turn. Of course I saw FotR 11 months after it was released from threatres, so waiting 2 days after TTT is released is a step up, I think. :D

I'd like to think the humor would remain the same, but I'd probably switch to a three or four frame strip (instead of my current six) and I'd likely have to scale back to only once or twice a week.

Yeah, you got it easy. Try waiting for Return of the King, though. ;)
