Well he did insist they return the money, but yeah, I think he's given up a bit.
Nature’s first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf’s a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.

I think he's picked, what one lock successfully? (The Gruntboy episode) At this point the others don't expect him to disarm any traps, just take the brunt of the damage. If they want a door open they get Khaggoth. If they want to sneak into someplace... They don't!

Arudin's been getting some comeuppance recently though (getting attacked by a moose). I have an episode coming up that is really going to fray his nerves.

Well every group needs a decoy/sucker to take the brunt of the damage. Its very useful. It saves healing potions and much grief.....for the other members of the group.
“Caw, Caw!” The call of the wild calls you. Are you listening? Do you dare challenge their power? Do you dare invade? Nature will always triumph in the end.

You know, now that I think about it, Arudin had planned this role for Castor all along!

Are there any comics you believe are over-rated?
Well, most of the top 150 comics over on Top Web Comics are fairly over-rated, IMHO.

The #1 comic, Sonic, is really bad.
Yeah, even though it´s a flash movie comic, it´s pretty hilarous. (doesn´t come anywhere near DCI, of course...)
Did you play the original game?
Icewind Gate IIImproved engine, third edition rules and the full BG2 storyline.
If you ever fall off the Sears Tower, just go real limp, because maybe you'll look like a dummy and people will try to catch you because, hey, free dummy.
Love is a perky elf dancing a merry little jig and then suddenly he turns on you with a miniature machine gun.

BTW Kayless, I really think Khaggoth should have more lines. I´ve grown to simply adooore his kind personality and fragile soul.

Yeah, the big guy does need to talk more (for the most part he’s restricted to the occasional bizarre one-liner). Hopefully I'll be able to work more lines in there. But it's hard to get everyone to talk sometimes (especially when there's nine or more people in an issue, like most of the Shadow Pack ones).

I concur, Rob. I have always liked Sonic and even when growing up, I loved the cartoons of Sonic every weekday morning. So youd think Id be positively biased towards the Sonic online comic. Well I was, but now that Ive read it, theres nothing funny about it. There are much worse out there, like Pupkin , but it doesnt deserve to be the number 1 comic. I mean if a Sonic fan doesnt enjoy it, who will?

Of lying epitaths their secrets keep,
At last incapable of further harm
The lewd forefathers of the village sleep.

There you are Kayless! I thought some angry muskrats abducted you and made you fall to their mercy whilst they played the flute off tune and doing the mexican hat dance! PHEW! Glad you didnt have to endure that.
Anyway....the plot is getting quite interesting. And thats important aswell. Cause now Im not only reading the comic for the laughs....Im wondering whats going to happen next.
