Hmmm, interesting idea. We don't know much about the crew's families except that Beatrice has a half brother and Durnkrag is uncomfortable talking about his father.

Say, Kayless, it's probably not a bad idea to create an entirely new female character to make up the trio.

Sez you. :p
Nature’s first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf’s a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.

If not for us, do it for the sake of DCI, Kayless. You don't want DCI to still be at number 64 in 10 years time, do you? Image

I'd be amazed if DCI was still going (in it's present incarnation) in 10 years time. ;)

The downside of creating such a loyal and dedicated band of DCI followers is that we could become **very** disappointed if you try to stop.

Maybe I can get a deal to do an animated DCI in a few years. That should keep the fans happy.

ah, but what if it was a long lost sister, eh? much star wars off-ripping could be in store... :)

I suppose I could make Ganelon his father then too. :p Seriously, there will be no more long lost siblings aside from Beatrice's. I can only beat a dead horse for so long after all. ;)

Since midterms are coming up I'm updating early in order to give me more time to study this weekend, without having DCI updates hanging over my head. Lucky you. ;) Click here to see Friday’s issue, much earlier than usual. :D

Hooray! :D After the somewhat disappointed response to the last episode, I'm glad you enjoyed this one. :)

LOL :D Reminds me of a bit I have coming up when I eventually get around to showing a dragon (you have to wonder how they feel about trespassers in their homes). ;)

Ahem...this may be an appropriate moment to discuss my cameo (should you be inclined to use one)....as a Death-God, I assume I will appear as an appropriately fierce and powerful creature - dragon, balrog, terrasque etc. Sounds like I already have the right sort of home for a dragon.

There's a problem though. Osiris the god already exists in the Forgotten Realms. That's the problem with giving cameos to members with names that are either well known or inappropriate for the environment (though somehow I managed to finagle Gruntboy in there). :o Names like Kameleon, The Z, Osiris, Tamerlane, etc. are kind of hard to smoothly work into the comic (you guys need some bizarre traits so I can put you in there without actually naming you). :p I'm open to suggestions if anyone has some bright ideas how to work around this.

Bloodmist is a nice and easy name to work with though. :D

None whatsoever, though some might consider being a 5000 year old corpse clad in mummy wrappings a tad unusual.

Hmmm, well mummies aren't hard to work in. Yeah, I can work with that! :D

Just think all the monsters that work well with a name like Bloodmist. Goblins, bugbears, kobolds, orcs... It's almost too easy. :D Working in some of the other member names is going to be a bee-itch, but not Bloodmist. :p

Thats a cool episode, Kayless.

I think you are mastering the facial expressions. I mean they were really well done this time (not saying they werent before) but in this episode, you really didnt need words to convey the attitude.

But of course you needed the words for the punchline and jokes and whatnot.
“Caw, Caw!” The call of the wild calls you. Are you listening? Do you dare challenge their power? Do you dare invade? Nature will always triumph in the end.
