Use the staff of powers lightning bolt to paralyze the lich.. The only one that can use azuredge is minsk (hauled his but around solo with me till he leveled up and got a point I could put into axes) none the less his THACO is still 6 and he only kills the lich
1/5 times on the first shot if he doesn’t get him first shot then up go the lichs protections and its game over a lot of horrid wiltings very messy.....the rod allows you to freeze the lich and bang away
with the ax till he is dead. Then the "AX-man" runs over and starts on the vampire, who will also be frozen by that time.

Paralyze the fighter and the vamp (the vamp is nasty drains four levels at a go He isn’t just filler imho

The assassins do 50hp a go and have endless potions

Did you know that this particular mage type can throw zone of sweet air, well yes she
Can….. but if someone stands at the front of the room you are teleported into
the mage will stay in the back of the room by the door where she spawns . She only has one zone of sweet air hehehehehehehe
just keep pouring them in…… the problem is that if she gets out you will never catch her
(my best mage only has two breach spells and has to use one to bring down the fighters
defences so as to kill him while he is frozen)

I find that the vamp does more damage than the beholder I send a couple of
Fighters level 9 after the beholder and they take him down ….about 20% of the time he
Beholder direcharms himself (love the shield of balderon)

Or do you mean throw a limited wish spell???
I’ve got no level seven spells……….

got to go want to try this staff of power on a few other lichs to see if it will freeze them as well *rubbing his hands together*
Also have to give this staff of the magi a try..never played with
it hope its a s cheesey as the say

The rod of power is turning into my favorite item

Who it freezes is inconsistant but seems to work on several
magic resistant types esp if you cast lower magic resistance

still have to get it to work on a dragon or two, it does not work on the silver dragon in the underdark

I'ts really fun when you suddenly find a lich where there only where minor undead before. lv 18 sorcerer solo running into a lich in the temple ruins. a bit of a shock
