Yep, and Fridays mean new DCI. :D
Nature’s first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf’s a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.

Fine ep, Kayless. Good to see Durnkrag back to his "we're a disgrace to the adventuring profession" type of comments.

The poor guy. All he wants is a nice normal adventure and instead he gets demon bunnies, crazed aristocrats, and dungeon makers who leave important artifacts out in the open. Makes it kind of hard for him to take himself seriously, you know?

After the first of april, I'm glad to see Arudin back to his normal 'shiny rock' self. :D

But is there more to Khaggoth than meets the eye? For starters, how was he able to read that sign...."artifact" is a pretty big word you know.

Yeah, he sort of reminds me of a Half Orc mage I once made in IWD.

He didn't have to know what the sigh said. The fact that the artifact was on a pedestal made it's identity fairly clear (even to him). :D

All in good time. Meanwhile, you can continue using this thread to speculate.

Kudos

Kudos, once again, Kayless for your work. :)

Do you suppose there will ever be a bit part required for a monk? :o I would love to be remembered for all posterity as a bit actor in Dungeon Crawl. ;)

Cheers!

Hmmm, what kind of monk would you like to be? The Kung-Fu D&D kind or more of the cleric kind? :)

Yes, but if he calls me a hippy then he gets a cameo as a retarded goblin (or something to that effect). :p

I'm sure you would be charitable enough to make it a retarded goblin who is a Kung-Fu D&D monk.

On the next DCI: Aegis Jr. (the cross-dressing pervert gnoll) comes to avenge his father. :p

I don't want to be a retarded goblin! :( And, for the record, I have never called you a hippy. :) As for the type of monk ... well, I'm a beer-brewing monk! ;) But I suppose that would be tough to get into a DCI comic. ;) How about a cleric-y monk?

Tra-la!

(PS: This is the best thread on the board right now. :) )

There were a few tavern scenes in the early days of DCI. Keep praising Kayless and you might end up as a beer-brewing monk who owns a tavern (the guys have to drink somewhere).
