I currently suck at every single fighting game out there(2D/3D, makes no difference to me), and possibly games that require the sustained usage of lightning-quick reflexes over a long period of time.It is no wonder that my friends often play me as an ego-booster after they get beaten by someone whose skills are superior to theirs  :( :p

G'day Brink! Been awhile. Busy with study?

I am bad news at any game requiring lightning reflexes/advanced coordination skills etc.

Hiya fabs :) .Good to see you again as well :) .

I am pretty shocked to find myself in the same boat as you are in, though, considering the age difference between the two of us  :p :)

The results are the same, the causes are simply different. In your case, it's probably in-breeding, while in mine, it's senile dementia. :)

@fable-In-breeding?I'm pretty sure that my parents weren't related to each other before they got married.....erm, hang on for a sec.....

*goes off to check out my family tree chart*

Yeap....no signs of in-breeding over there ;) .

Btw, I do have above average reflexes(I think), it's just that I tend to lose my concentration after a short while(hence, my combos usually start out good, but I'll end up button-mashing my way through :p )

My reflexes are pretty good, too. I just get carried away with the excitement, and start running around the walls of the room. That tends to make controlling the realtime action difficult. :)

Ha! Losers. All of you. Image I never encountered a game I was not able to dominate. Image
Nature’s first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf’s a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.

Even if it's a matter of throwing the CD on the ground and jumping on it until it's reduced to atomic motes, right? ;)

As someone who got his start with console games, I have learned that the proper etiquette is to throw/smash controlers not CDs/cartridges. Image
