What is the deal now?

Because fable appears to be all-knowing on this subject, I will ask here...

I have seen a number of listings showing the ToEE game coming out on the 16th now. Is this the truth? What is going on now? If it is coming out tomorrow, I guess I will have to re-arrange the funds... ouch... but I want to check out this game asap.

fable is on vacation right now, and so I guess I'll lend a hand.

Yes, that is the current due date. It is in the latest news on various sights including the link that Artimus provided. ;)

In stores in the midwest on wednesday, confirmed! This game looks awfully fun. Hopefully, the game is as open ended as advertised.

As well, I hope there's a lot of personality put into their NPC's. I'm not too keen on making a party of 5 and adding a couple of hirelings. That's cool if they want their share of the loot but they ought to add sufficient interaction.
Crush enemies, see them driven before you, and hear the lamentations of the women.

That is the case...

From what I have read, They put a lot of time into the NPC's on this one, that is why I am so excited for it. I like a little personality!

By the way, thank you Galuf...

I too saw the confirmation of Sept. 16 on the games official... can't wait for tomorrow. see ya...

Just received my $50 birthday check from good old mom. Sounds like it is going to be spent quickly. I am going to get this game right away. I watched the playtest demo video - and it looks good to me.

Lets keep our fingers crossed character and party interaction are more like BGII than IWDII.

smass you lucky dog...

Smass, I wish I had a birthday coming up... I was just talking to my friend about how I havent bought a console game in so long b/c I have had to get so many PC games. I am going to have to wait until Friday to get this one, that is when I get paid. I am heading to my friends store to check out the game either today or tomorrow though. A little test drive, if you will...

So what does anybody think of it?

None of the stores around here have it yet. I'll be picking it up tomorrow. Everything I've seen and read looks sweet though.

I am chomping at the bit!!! I just checked at my local GameStop and it is enroute for tomorrow. Let's hope it is as good as portrayed, expected, desired, and as the original 'classic' module deserves.

And this time ol' Gremag is gonna get what he deserves.....
Evil is not deserving of mercy and I shall stamp it out at every encounter. Unless, of course, it is a 'very large' evil. Then I may run away; very unlikely, but maybe.

Still Creating my party!

I have had a lot of fun creating my party, but have not had a chance to delve into the game as of yet. I think it is will be pretty cool though. I wasn't going to buy it right away, but couldn't resist once I saw it. HA. I will most likely spend a lot of time on it this weekend.
