I don't see it as too cheesy. I only buff my Intel up about 20-30 points before concocting potions (usually, though sometimes for fun I'll buff up to 200 pts... ;) ). I also use the ring that buffs your Alchemy 10 pts. I figure its the best use of the Fortify Intel. potions you find, anyway. I've never come across a situation where having a buffed Intel was necessary outside of Alchemy....

It's one of those things I set myself not to do--you can do as you like. ;) Sri's just reinforces a decision I made for myself, making the game more challenging.

It seems there are two kinds of mods that affect difficulty: those that make Morrowind easier, and those that make it harder. As a rule, I've made it a bit harder (Sri's, Wilderness, SuperAdventurers). Some go much further, such as Giants 2.0, but I'm in for a little challenge, not masochism.

Back to subject. They never did fix Mercantile, did they? I was kinda hoping that after two years, they'd repair the bug which lowered the cost of your goods when sold to a friendly proprietor.
