Name your Spells...

Post by tabooey »

I was having a spell made at the good ol' Urshilaku Camp and I started wondering what some of you more experienced (or not) players have named your spells. Any humorous spell names? For that matter, what are your most useful spells in the game???
This also applies to enchanted items...

(Edit) How rude of me. I didn't mention my own spell worthy of mention. Actually, I'm just getting into making spells and enchanting things. I guess the summon Daedroth, Dremora, and Hunger for 20 seconds is it.
I enchanted a Daedric claymore to paralyze on striking, but it kept backfiring and paralyzing me instead. What a waste. I guess I can't undo enchantments or add to it. Gotta find another one.

I made a jump/slowfall spell called Hoppster once, man was that fun. Don't remember the stats I put on it, but it made me jump pretty high up and had a decent duration (1 minute I think)

My "Locksplitter" spell (original, I know...) opens 100-100 lock level and it's pretty pretty handy. Don't have to carry around stupid lockpicks and the like. Only cost me 412 gold, too. It's the only spell I've gotten around to making so far, but I have pretty much any spell money can buy. Magic is my main specialty. :D Though my guy is good at pretty much anything else.

Ultra mega Spell of Infinite Death and Death

100% weak to fire/100% fire damage
100% weak to poison/100% poison damage
100% weak to frost/100% frost damage
100% weak to shock/100% shock damage

area-100 ft on Target!

HAHAHAHAHAHA, i go into the wilderness and fire this bad boy off and every creature dies!!!!

I also have one without all the weakness but with absorb health, i use it with my vampire, it is by far the coolest spell ever, the area effect that shows up with the 100 ft area is awesome...

one time i accidentaly shot it instead of night eye in town and killed everyone, i got a 20,000 bounty and it was quite funny

Heh, I had the same spell. Enchanted an extravegant skirt with open 100 (skirt of unhinging) and it saves carrying the lockpicks, although neglible in weight. Every pound matters when you use Daedric weapons, collecting booty, or whatever.

I made a water walk spell that lasts for 11 seconds and costs 1 mana to cast. I called it Water Skip, since the duration is short. Since it was such a weak spell it had almost a 100% chance of success. I'd just recast it over and over on the water, though usually 11 seconds was all the time I needed on the water. I don't use it anymore due to I have a levitation ring. Same with my Dimensional Armor spell that summoned a bunch of Bound Armor spells.

I made two spells. One called Restore Mind that restores 6 points into 4 of my attributes. The other was Restore Body that restores 6 points into each of my other 4 attributes.
I kill two dwarves in the morning, I kill two dwarves at night. I kill two dwarves in the afternoon, and then I feel alright. I kill two dwarves in time of peace and two in time of war. I kill two dwarves before I kill two dwarves, and then I kill two more.
I may be bad, but I feel good.

...speaking of enchanting weapons with 'paralyze'...
As you said it can be dangerous if your opponent can reflect. However, if you enchant your weapon with cast when strikes 'calm humanoid 1 sec' and maybe even 'calm creature 1 sec', you are good to go. It can't be reflected, and the 1 sec is all you need to swing another stroke. (I killed umbra using this method hile I was pretty low level. He'd stand there calm while I swung away, all the time while talking trash to me... He only hit me once or twice... :D )

My dadric mace enchanted with 'calm humanoid 1 sec' is called "Crippler"...

Also, I've made a "Skirt of Far Travels", which has slowfall 1 point CE, and waterwalk CE. Very handy...

If you enchant something with restore fatigue 1 point CE, you'll never tire... Very very handy...

PS: About 'calm humanoid'... Don't use a weapon enchanted that way if you need to taunt someone in a city. By calming them you will automatically break the law if you hit the again. Worth keeping in mind...

The only speel I ever made (I was a warrior) was the "blinding Speed Override"

resist magicka 100 on self for 1 sec

I used it every time I had to put on the boots of blinding speed, very helpful indeed as it blocked the blindness, but not the speed :D

You get them for an escort mission. You can look it up in Hannah's Whereizit, which has a link in the yellow pages.

I am always overencumbered so I enchant my armor with forify strength spells. I have the GIANTS ultimate mod and the Ancient Vampire armor has very nice enchant limits. I have only gauntlets right now, but one has a constant restore health by 3 and the other has a constanf fortify strength by 16. Quite useful.

I named a 10pts for 10 seconds fire damage on target spell 'Hell Storm' just last night. Dunno if thats cool or not, but I couldn't think of anything.

You can find them many places. but I know you'll find it at the imperial shrine in sadrith mora. However, if you want to fortify your strength, any random fortify spell will do.
This goes for absorb as well...

The spell doesn't matter, I only need it to get some enchanting done.

Hearts Key - Open 100 to 100
Crimson Beauty - 100 to 100 Fire Damage over 2 seconds in 10ft
Kangaroo - Jump 100 to 100 over 2 seconds
Summon Dremora
Summon Golden Saint
Summon Frost Atro
Summon Storm Atro
Soultrap

And various spells I need for enchanting..
What a wonderous love it is
To bind two souls in faith,
Chained completely together
With never a false word,
Weal and woe, wish and real,
Woven each together
From first kiss to last breath
First and last whispered in love

I havent tried this yet.... but you should make one spell with Jump 100 for 2 seconds on self and then another spell with slowfall 100 pts for 30 seconds on self....

It would probably be like flying...

one spell that works AWESOME is a combonation of paralyze and invisibility..... The target is invisible and cant attack you, so they stay invisible :D
