Wilderness Sounds can be downloaded here. There's another, much more extensive sound redo for all of Morrowind, called Atmospheric Sounds, but it's extremely degrading to the FPS rate. I haven't tried it, so I can't recommend it.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

the atmosperic sound effectgs mod is really really good, i love it. When i first got morrowind i was dissapointed with the ugliness of the graphics and the staticness of the sounds. After downloading all the retexturing mods, rhedds heads, and atmospeheric sound effects, morrowind is the coolest game ive ever played. I could get lost in the vastness... if only there was a more lifelike feel to the npcs... *sigh* uh well

back to my game

The beautiful, barren landscape of Solstheim, covered with pure, unspoiled snow... I was going 'ooo' and 'aaa' behind my computer.
Then I went '@#$&^%!!' because I was pounded into the ground by a Tusleback in two seconds. :p

I think the best looking thing in the game is a quaint little island with a cot rolled out under a tree by a waterfall. Its pretty cool with its own small bay like area. and the sky during the evening.

Where is that island? It sounds like a good place to try out that upcoming 'Generations of Morrowind' mod. :)

It's out in the ocean, southwest of the Khuul area, I do believe. :)

the best looking item i thought was by far.. Trueflame/nerevar's blade. It has flames coming out of it :D

The best armor is probably the Glass Armor

the best portrait is when you enter the Cavern of the Incarnate to recieve the Moon-and-Skar ring from Azura. You can see the spirits of past ones who werent Nerevar and the statue of Azura holding the ring. Not to mention all the glowing weeds and water in the room.
