The stone heads are used later in the game arround where you fight Malgi-Hi. There is a big stone head you give the big stone head the heads and you will get many fading ring that will help
you on your journey.

your turnin will simply destroy most of those undead later in the game, nothing nicer than getting surrounded by wights, to see them all crumble at your feet when you turn them
Healings is a wonderous thing
Personally I wouldn't use too many magic missles against undead, just not worth the spell use for the damage you get. Remember if it is DEAD the HEAL will HURT it. Nasty shadow, cast healing spell or use salve. Much more damage than a 1D4 +1 missle any day.

Nothing has to be perfect unless you have the time; then again what is time but the energy it takes.

the problem with that is they'll get a free shot at your character, and cleric's attack bonus's are not to great, unless you use a paladin's lay on hands, that should do the trick, like say Eadred, an NPC in the game, at level 9 can do 36 damage to an undead with that every time
but for me, it's all about searing light on those pesky undead, especially the incoporial ghost like ones
