BG2 Party Question
[QUOTE=TRODTROD]ok, now i know im sounding very nooby here. But im a little bit skeptical about breaking my bros Baldurs Gate II on HIS computer basically, could someone write down exactly what i need to do with URL links
im really sorry i just find that sticky really hard to follow

I think our friend means break in the sense of "cause the software to stop running" not the sense of pirating.
If you're really worried, you may just want to stick to the Bioware patch and then the Baldurdash patch - discuss any others with your Bro. All the more substantial patches have Readme files, but at worst you'll need to reinstall.
Good luck!

I have given up all lesser evils as inadequate to my purpose.

[QUOTE=TRODTROD]hehehe, no ive been on enough forums to know that mate
i mean i just dont wanna **** it up and make him install it again, also i dont wanna be downloading stuff for his pc im not sure works.

Sorry, mate, I only asked cause I was in doubt...
Check your pm's a bit later, ok?
Now, try using two copies of BG on the same disk. I dont remember exactly how to do it, but Ive done it before, only changing the directory name and using an alternative hd. BTW, Weidu mods can be easily uninstalled, and your brother may even like to have improvements on his SoA copy. UU and Nephtu may help you on having 2 baldurs gate on the same computer.

Flesh to stone ain't permanent, it seems.
funnily enough it turned out he didnt have it installed
so i installed it, put the bioware patch on, then i put the balderdash one on (i think its worked) it was some bug fix thing, it seems to have anyway.
Only problem is i cant find my old saved games now, maybe my bro got rid of em....
found em

both kelsey and tashia are good additions to any party, as is the drow fighter/mage solaufein. the evil vampire valen provides some interesting dialogue.
HOWEVER, of these characters, kelsey is the least powerful (and he's a bloody sorceror). so if you are to take tashia, sola or the mega powerful valen, try notching up the difficulty, or even installing tactics

Mods
Click on that link and scroll down the list. Tashia, Valen, etc are in this list. Click on the name of whichever mod you want to open that pages homepage, then click download. Then run the install the way it tells you to do in the read-me that will come with each download. For the most part, it's just a matter of downloading the mods, then just running the setup.

Check the readme files and see if they tell you. Myself, I haven;'t played with the ones you downloaded, I do know Tashia is in Trademeet though. And Soulafin you can't miss. He's a part of the original game, just modded.
