Soon after planning my perfect counselor character, with his 50 DC I realized that I needed to think feat-wise as well. So seeing as I only had 9 feats to grant my character I was in trapped in a hole. Which class to start with (i'm going for a class ?2/188counselor) and which feats to grant him. Well, after much thought, I decided that I did not wish to use the scoundrel class as my primary one, but the scout class instead. Why you ask, well its because I realized that, since I wanted the implants in the game and also the jedi defence feat I would have only 4 feats left which I would use on empathy and conditioning or improved critical hits(since I could not do anything else with that 1 left feat). In total 9 feats for my 2/18 scoundrel counselor. But I also realized that, while empathy would have been a viable choice for a feat on my prevous chaaracters (which were all evil) it would not be useful at all now, since my new character would be a light jedi and also would have a very high charisma level. I mean at the end of the game my charisma bonus would be 7 (with master valour +5 and the LS mastery bonus of +3 charisma) and the wisdom mofifier would be 14 (highest possible in the game). Giving me an overall 41 DC to force powers. Plus the 4 from master jedi sence and 5 being the natural DC for a spell (i think its this way) I would have 50 DC. I believe that this is actually the max possible DC or something, migh give me an additional attribute like unless the opponent rolls a 20 he cannot save no matter what his wisdom bonus is.
Anyway, back to my point, I realized that there was no need for empathy as I would probuably be able to persuade anyone that I wanted to act one my Light-Side character's role. Then, eyes quickly passing over the Soldier class I noticed the Scout. I looked at his feats and it was magical, I saw that I could actually see a good character forming, one who could attack with the ligthsaber as well. The scout comes with an implant feat and a flurry feat, at creation. So I decided to use this class, and with a heavy heart decided to drop scoundrel's luck and sneak attack. So basically I was planning for my end character to spend the nine feats on: 2 master jedi defence, 3 two weapon figthing , 2 flurry, 2 implant. It felt impossible to me that I actually made a character that worked with all this. Cause I didn't want tro go half way with any feat path, and this way, I THOUGHT that I could fully accomplish these four paths. However I was wrong, since trying to implement the idea I realized at the end of the Endar Spire, when I had to level up, that this dream would not occure. It turned out that the I could not use the feats that I wanted to because of, 1 the jedi defence path was blocked, and 2 the other 3 feat paths were all at one level already, and the second level I could not reach for any of them because I had to be atleast level 4. So this makes me angry, and is why I am writting so much. Does anyone know any other feat combinations that would work for my super character. Don't worry I can get past taris easilly, because i've actually tried it with a character who only had 0.5 bonus to dexterity and the rest was 0 except for wisdom and charisma (5 wis, 4.5 charisma and the other way round. I've played 2 games, both dark side so far. But wisdom and charisma are almost useless on taris). I even killed Bendak Starkiller, after a series of saves, loads, saves, saves, saves, loads, saves (you get it) and grenades, sonic, the concussion, then run, or something along those lines. Ofcourse, after taris one really feels all powerful. I am even planning to give my ligth side character dark side powers like death field and Force storm, because I have so much FP (14 wisdom) and also because I've never actually finnished Kotor, I've never actually flied to Kashyk or the Unknown Planet. And I've never gotten Force storm or death field, although I did get kill at both of my previous games, Its so easy to win with it, I mean, with me having a high DC anyway, nothing resisted it. This game gets soooo easy
Also if anyone can offer any variations to my character, whcih I haven't actually started playing yet. That would be great. But remember that I want my character to have maximum Blaster Dflection possible and Also the perfect DC. Except for that. Please give me advise. My Force power plan was something involving the necesary, Master Valour, Master Speed (so the game doesn't take me 40 hours) and Heal because I want my perfect wisdom+charisma to affect something except DC and Heal actually heals by 10+my charisma and wisdom modifiers (I think). If someone can suggest any other force powers that are affected by wisdom and charisma, please do tell. If there are any more. Also I am planning on giving my Jedi Master, Shakil Tutan the affectmind force power, since he is a good character, it shall be useful. But is it needed to get Dominate Mind, I mean, what does it do better?
My sabers shall be mantle of the force with Upari and jenruax, Heart of the Guardian with Jenruax and Solari. Giving me +24 Blaster Deflection from both sabers. That's why I chose to use two sabers. So how much Blaster Deflection is that in total, probuably as much as possible. It'll be cool just to send this guy into battle with people shoting at him. He'll just kill them all by doind nothing than just waving around his saber to reflect the bolts back at the enemies. Should look cool. Ok, well that's it.
Now its time to ask my brother about how the weather was today, since I did actually miss the whole day just by typing this
