Mine, it's:
- Guys who ask me if I have a significant other (because I have none)
- Guys who do little else but brag, no matter what the subject is. Just shut up and do your duties, for crying out loud!
- My dogs (note: we're talking two larger breed dogs here) having to constantly "use the dog's room" at night. If only I could train them the use the toilet.
- People obsessed with sports, ESPECIALLY baseball. Had 3 people in my American History class that covered the history of baseball as their final speech, along with quite a few others that did some band-wagon reports based on that class's lessons.
Warning to all on the this pet peeve's subject: Major league baseball in Connecticut is almost like during the Civil War: If you like the sport, you're either for the NY Yankees or the Boston Red Sox. Otherwise, you really shouldn't care for it, believe me!
- Panhandlers/beggars. One local city's reputation for heroin leads to one of these at least one every other month. Could be more, could be less.
- Hip-hop/rap music blasting out (DANGEROULSY HIGH bass) of some people's cars (99.99% men). Not arguing about the music; just the noise. I guess someone will eventually make a fortune on prescribing hearing aids or such.
- Women leading to feeling so much like they really like me, and then suddenly "I'm sorry, I'm already steady w/ someone." Need I say more?
- Customers at Wal-Mart who have to take my time with something silly. There are those who put back products in ALL the wrong places. That, and the ones who don't remember what day the month it is and bother me about the dates on the products in my departments. Finally, there are those who have to gripe about the crappy amount of service that they get when I'm not to blame (since I do quite a bit for my area, though I can't get to everything). UGH!
- My mother constantly assuming my attitude at home (especially when I get irritated, which is somewhat common) as my behavior outside of the house. She doesn't see me around other people, so who's she to judge?
- Bad grammar and sentence structure. Sure, not everyone has the time or inclination to write like a textbook, but... *sighs*
- Women that can't really see what a guy likes in a woman from more of a guy's perspective. No, I'm not saying that I'm only aiming at a woman who's bisexual, just more... man-minded, shall we say?
