If it what I think it is, people that use a PC to much often get it. So if that is what you got stay away from the pc a couple of days as Yeltsu says.

Brynn, is it your wrist and hand that is hurting? If so, he's probably right. It's most likely the early stages of carpeltunel (sp?). I believe it has something to do with the tendon's or cartiladge in your wrist affecting your wrist and hand movements. Typing at an awkward angle is usually the leading cause of developing it. Cashier's and people who work at computer's are usually who end up with it, and before the age of 30 or so if they've been doing so for years.

If this is something that's been happening a lot, I'd discuss it with a doctor, if it's just a one time thing, don't use your computer and see how that affects you. Chances are if you avoid typing and using a mouse for 2 days or so, you'll feel better. There are ways to avoid that, I personally don't know them because I'm dealing with them myself now. :( A doctor should be able to help though if it is that problem I'm thinking of. Wrist braces, attachments for your keyboard and mouse and the correct positioning of your arm/wrist/hand/back when typing and such.

Your back DZ! Where have you been?

No, I'm serious, here we call it musesyken (means something like mouse illness) and like fib said, people who use the computer alot tend to get it.

EDIT: you beat me to it maggy :p

I bet that Blizzard are cooperating with the doctors. WoW gives people a sore/hurting wrist and the doctors cure them with expensive advices :p :D

Yeah, my old babysitter when I was younger had it. It's why she had to end up babysitting, she was a cashier for years and it got to the point she could barely stand the pain in her wrist and the doctor made her quit and wear a brace on her wrist and told her she had to do that or she wouldn't be able to use her hand anymore. :(

Well, my friends dad died, but he's taking it all right, we still go and do crazy stuff and he won't even get depressed or sad or anything. He was cremated so that took a while, We had to send 1/3 of the ahses to scottland and Germany I think, that's where some of his other realitives, He was in a car accident years ago and he has been paralyzed ever scince, so I was sure his time would come soon. But after that my good friend Racheal had some kind of Emotional Break down for some reason, she just came to my house, pounding on the door and I haven't let her out of my sights, she's here now, she's a bit better. After that, Natasha wanted me and Racheal to go to some kind of wedding for her sister, It was a pretty busy 3 weeks.

Oh wow, sounds like my world...I'm sorry about all of that and I'm glad your friend is doing better. I'm usually the person all my friends come to with a crisis so I know how that is. It's stressful, but I like knowing if they need me, they can come to me for help since they trust me you know?

Come to think of it, if I charged even 10 dollars an hour for my friends crisis situations they bring to me until they were dealt with. I would be one rich person right now off of my friends alone. :o

No, thank god it's not my wrist (so I can still do archery, phew). It's the very beginning of my index finger's "muscles" (or what). It's worst when I try to scroll the mouse.

Yes, I figured it must be the wrong arrangement of my desk/keyboard/mopuse at home. Here at work I have a desk big enough to lay my lower arm on, but at home the space is smaller, and the display is on my right, so when I turn right to face it my right hand moves even further from it... So, it needs to be rearranged asap.

Yeah, I've been using the mouse with my left hand all day today, and it feels slightly better already. I'll be doing the same for the next couple of days, hopefully that and rearranging my desk will help :)

That's good, pay attention to that though. If your having trouble with your fingers, the tendons go all the way from your forearm below your wrist to the joints in your fingers. If your wrist starts hurting, talk to a doctor about it.

My desk chair broke, and I just moved my desk over to my bed and sit on my bed now and it's all sorts of awkward. It says me room in my bedroom which I truly needed, but in order to have room to get out of bed and such, it has to be a little too far away and it's slightly awkward typing like that so I know I have that same problem going on in my wrists, not my finger's. I just take breaks. Even taking a half hour break from using your keyboard and mouse every hour or two really makes a difference. :)

Hey, make that lazy boyfriend of yours massage your hand and arm ;) That'll be good for you too. And a few days away from the computer help too.

Evening all :D

School sports day today. Came 2nd in the 1500m, which was good, since the guy who beat me runs for the country, and trains 5 times a week :)

Then waterfights in a river with several girls... (All, coincedentally wearing white shirts. School Uniform, in fact  :D )

SO whats up?
Mag: Don't remember much at all of last night do you?
Me: put simply.... No :D
Mag: From what I put together of your late night drunken ramblings? Vodka, 3 girls, and then we played tic-tac-toe and slapped each other around.
