How about importing characters from BG titles.

I've said it before and I think it's a good idea. I'd like the ability to 'queue' up commands on yer guys. eg. Tell the mage to cast this spell, and then that spell. That way you could set your commands and let the battle unfold. I'd like to see some kits as well. I'd also like more integration with 3E rules, particularly with regard to skills. I understand only a limited amount of skills would be useful in a computer game but there are some that would be. Oh yeah, how about dual wielding for Rangers

Actually the infinity engine already supports this and uses this, without you seeing it much.

Remember all those times you hacked a spellcaster to death, then his contingencies, triggers, etc, fired off?

Thats due to the engine querying actions to that objects Action List. Thus the scripting trigger players find useful: ActionListEmpty(): Meaning the object running the script is not performing any actions, nor has any queried to do...So in game scripts (and us scriptors) already are using this.

I really like snow areas in IWD. They are the best to look at (This was EXCELLENT). More of these and less of caverns.
Anything to do with ice, snow scenery. I think IWD had too few of these compared to caverns and so-so indoor scenes.

A less lineair storyline and more sidequests would be nice.
And kits, especially designed for IWD, yeah, that would be great.
