Poll: Most hated BG2 NPC-Character

Minsc. The guy is such a dozer. As soon as he met me he started to go on about the good old days when we had travelled together with Dynaheir, until she got killed. I didn't have the heart to tell him that it was me who killed her (and him too) back in BG1. Silly sod. I thought it was a computer glitch, but Drizzt remembered me well enough, and had no illusions about who had done him in. This time I'll stomp on Boo. Maybe that will refresh Minsc's memory. I await flames from all you Boo lovers.

I have VERY little experience with different NPC's because I picked a party and stayed with it (I'm still on my first time through) I don't hate any of my party members, but Nalia is definitely the most irritating of those I've come in contact with. Her bleeding heart personality just doesn't do much for me. But like I said, while it's annoying, I don't hate her for it.

Hey don't pick on Aerie! She's so cute... By the way, after a while of whining she becomes real nice to you...

Nalia sucks. She sucks as a mage, she sucks as a thief. Maybe if you could romance her, that sucking could've been of some use but no. Her portrait is ugly in-game, but kinda cute on her record screen, odd...

I really think Anomen is kinda cool. If you play a good party and he becomes lawful good he's a powerful cleric, and he stops (most of) his nagging. By the way, with Crom Faeyr, Boots of Speed and Gauntlets of Dexterity he rules as a fighter too. Then again, if you play a good party, Keldorn might benefit more from the boots and the gauntlets.

Speaking of Keldorn, there is nothing wrong with him. He didn't leave my party with the family stuff! He was proud he acted right and wanted to thank me by helping me on my quest. He only wanted a week or so to spend with his wife and children.

Well this was today's rant.

Dunno about NPCs but the most annoying thing/voice is the: "You must gather your party before venturing forth".

About Anomen, I know he will be better after he gets his knighthood. The thing is, I HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL HE GETS KNIGHTHOOD!!!

Waverly: I'd be willing to guess you don't like Cernd's face because you stole the one he should have?

The_Pope: Um...what character doesn't rock with Crom Faeyr, Gauntlets of Dexterity, and Boots of Speed? I do think Anomen is decent post successful test though.

I think my least favorite has to be Aerie. I don't like Cernd much either, mostly because it annoys me that druids in general are stuck 7 levels below clerics.

I say Nalia's aunt!! Not the most annyoing, but imagine cooped up in a room with her for a week like her poor bodyguard!

Yeah,
Aerie is a whining cry-baby that just won't shut up.
Okay,
Anomen is a self-righteous blowhard.
But,
it is Haer Daelis that is the biggest pain in the a$$. His smug, patronizing attitude with my PC is bad enough, and his constant pick-up lines with all of the female party members (and I have four in my party) is getting really irritating. But it is that freekin' whistling he does when I give him orders and he casually saunters off that makes me want to kill him.

Cromwell. Not only does he take a whole day to do the simplest tasks, but he makes you stay around to help, and charges you for the privilege.

Bodhi. Great lingerie, but silly posture.

Ellesime. She looks like an old porn queen, not an elven queen.

Korgan is a nasty piece of work, but his Scottish accent is superb. You can forgive a lot for an accent like that.

Hmmmmm. I would have to say, Keldorn. Here are 10 reasons.
1) He has the coolest Human Fighter Picture.
2) He tried to kill Viconia (unexcepatable!)
3) Number 2 again!
4) His only + Side is the Holy Avenger.
5) Number 2 again!
6) He is too slow to do much of anything.
7) Number 2 again!
8) Number 2 again!
9) Number 2 again!
10)Number 2 again!

i agree with ron...i hate keldorn mostly cause his stats suck big time..he needs too many items to be good...i mean, even anomen has a strength of 18 while keldorn needs strength and dex improvements

The most hated NPC, that's easy. Irenicus, you spend the whole game running after him and you don't even know why he has done the things to you he did and you don't even know exactly what he did.
